Target and Chick-Fil-A–redeemed!

I just got back from both Target and Chick Fil A, and definitely will think about checking out more Target deals, as I got all my deals with NO hassles. That seriously has not happened to me in YEARS. Then again, I haven’t been there in years. I went to the Concordville store, so maybe it’s better staff, come to think of it, all my terrible experiences were at the stupid Lancaster store.

Anyway-

Target.com has lots of Target store coupons that you can pair up with mfr coupons for cheapies, freebies and MMs.

Cheap-
Hydro 4-pack of blades is 0.99 after both coupons. This is an awesome price for blade refills.
Aveeno has one variety of body wash on sale for $1.25, and there are $2/2 mfr coupons out for this. Makes is $0.50 for two bottles of Aveeno body wash. Concordville store was cleaned out, no pun intended.
Clearanced food-Tabasco sauce was clearanced to 0.91 and I had $0.50/1 mfr coupons.
The Archer Farms applesauce 6-packs were clearanced to 0.98, which is a fantastic price for this. I can rarely find it for less than $1.67 each. Don’t bother going to Concordville for this, I took them all;).
If you need ziplocs, and I hate paying for them, rarely do–but there’s a $1 target printable and lots of either $0.55 or $1.00 mfr coupons out for these. They were on sale for 2.50. Also eligible for the $5 rebate wyb 3, so technically a mm.

Free-
Clean & Clear has $2 printables online and Target has several items on sale for $2. The Concordville store was completely cleaned out of them, but it’s not like I needed those items, and at least it tells me that the deal must be good and that others are doing it. Still, it would have been nice to have more to add to the pile that we’re donating at hubby’s work.

MM-
Use the $1 Target printable and the $0.85 mfr coupon for Viva, on the twin packs which are 1.48. About a $0.40 mm per pack. Even a good deal if all you have is the printables and like Viva.

Scrubbing Bubbles sprayer–$5 mfr coupon combined with Target $3 printable, item is only 6.99. So a 1.01 mm on each that you buy. Don’t forget to google the SC Johnson rebate, you’ll get $5 back for every 3 SCJ items you buy, so basically I’m getting paid $8 for every three that I purchase.

Except–I did use my overage today for diapers. Of course the only double-dip coupon deal is the Huggies, and they were the only brand not on sale. Still, with all the Target and MFR printables out there, combined with overage from other items, makes for free/cheap diapers.

Chick Fil A–Ok, truth be told, I really don’t see what is so fabulous about their food. It’s fine, but not crave worthy like many of my friends post. Still, the 3 of us ate for $11, which is ok. Very nice, very clean play area, like my friend C said it would be. Free ice cream for the kids–they knew how to win my heart! FREE! And when we left, the one employee saw me struggling with two kiddos who did NOT want to leave the play area and held K’s hand and walked him out to the car. I don’t see any other fast food joint offering that type of service. I’m definitely sold! And now off to plan our cow costumes for July 9 so we can eat for free.

More free/cheap Huggies!

The $3 Huggies IP has reset–you can print two.

Use it either at CVS, regarding what I posted yesterday, or at Target if you don’t do the ECB thing.

Target deal:

Buy two of the 8.99 packs of Huggies and two of the 216 ct wipes for 5.99.
Use:
two $3 diaper IPs
two of the $3.50 wyb Huggies diapers and wipes Target printable
one $2/2 Huggies wipes IP

Pay roughly $15 for all 4 items.
Check coupons.com for all the IPs.
Not free, but not bad either.

Diapers!

I still have two in diapers, so I’m always game for free/cheap diapers. CVS is offering the big box of Huggies this week for 19.99, with 10 ecb back. I scanned my card upon entering the Jennersville store and scored a 4/20, and I still had the $3 printable (no longer active). There are lots of Huggies coupons out there, from 1.50 inserts to 2.00 home mailers and lucky you if you have the IP too.

I picked up a fusion razor to cross over the $20 mark and after the 4/20, $3 huggies coupon, $4 fusion coupon and ECBs, I paid 1.02 oop and got back $15 ecbs.

It’s a nice change to get the big box of diapers, I get so sick of those jumbo packs all the time. It seems like that is all there is ever deals on.

Happy couponing!

adding new stores to my repetoire

With the addition of Baby #2 to the household, I really cut back on the deals I was doing. Actually it was pretty much just Acme, I even retired my CVS card for a while. I haven’t even set foot in a Walgreen’s in months!

But now I have more time and frugality and making money is my focus, so I think this will be my store list for a while:
Groceries-definitely Acme, will be checking Giant for gas deals since we now have pumps in Kennett; going to keep my eye on Shoprite and Pathmark for “must do” deals
HBA-back on board at CVS; going to either add Walgreen’s or Rite Aid, lately it’s looking as if Rite Aid has more money makers
Other-going to keep my eye on Kmart and see if it’s worth it, they now have a rewards program

Are there any other stores you would like me to check out and report on?
