Slow Cooker Sunday: Rotisserie Chicken
So easy to make, I’ve tried this and it works!
Recipe type: easy, frugal
Cuisine: frugal/budget friendly
- 1 whole chicken, defrosted
- 5-6 foil balls
- seasonings as desired
- Season chicken as desired
- place 5-6 foil balls on bottom of slow cooker
- cook 6 hours on low
- Chicken will fall apart when it’s done
I have done this recipe and it works. However, it does totally fall apart when it’s done, so be careful lifting it out. Also, I found mine to be a bit bland, but this is not unlike when I’ve done it in the oven. I seem to have troubled getting seasonings under the skin.
