Serves: 5

Ingredients
  • 1 whole chicken, defrosted
  • 5-6 foil balls
  • seasonings as desired

Instructions
  1. Season chicken as desired
  2. place 5-6 foil balls on bottom of slow cooker
  3. cook 6 hours on low
  4. Chicken will fall apart when it’s done

Notes
I have done this recipe and it works. However, it does totally fall apart when it’s done, so be careful lifting it out. Also, I found mine to be a bit bland, but this is not unlike when I’ve done it in the oven. I seem to have troubled getting seasonings under the skin.

  1. Cool – I am going to try this!

  2. Thanks for the link-up! I am so mad that I let some rotisserie chicken wine-tags expire last week but maybe this will lighten the blow!!

  3. Try filling the cavity with herbs of your choice.
