A couple of weeks ago I was invited to a blogger luncheon at Fork. Free food, could bring my kids……..I’m in! Ha, ha, I was genuinely interested in going as there was also a pediatrician speaking at the luncheon about health. It turned out to be a beautiful February day, in the 60s and sunny.

I always love a nice meal out, especially in good company. The speaker was Dr. Meg Meeker, who has written about a dozen books on parenting. I found her to be inspirational, as much of her message was about listening to your gut, and how too many moms don’t do that enough.
This is the book I got to take home (10 Habits)–we each got one of Dr. Meeker’s books. She has many great titles, take a look.

We also learned about the Vicks family of products. Of course we all think of the smelly Vapo Rub, but they have so much more. Humidifiers, thermometers of all different kinds and so much more–everything you need for cold and flu season.

Vicks is a name you can count on–I know we had Vicks products around when I was a child and was sick, and I now will be looking at their products when my own get sick. Please watch and share that video, thanks!
