Shopping and stocking up for holiday items in January is one of my favorite things to do. This past holiday season, as I went to the basement to get my bins of decorations and things, it was wonderful to find several bags of gifts and novelties. Right now, Oriental Trading Company is having a good clearance sale. In addition to lots of Christmas items, I found several little gifty things with a snowman motif. I’m getting some for the Valentine’s Day treat bags. Hey–snowmen are still appropriate in February.

If you teach Sunday school, there are tons of religious items on clearance. Regular school teachers–all the back to school stuff is also marked down. Definitely check it out.
