I’m giving away $75 to *your* project on Donors Choose!

I am very, very excited about this giveaway. I have partnered with Donors Choose and Savings.com to give your project $75 towards their goal. Each of those three parties (me, Savings, Donors Choose) are throwing $25 into the pot.

Have you ever used Donors Choose or checked out the site and how it works? It’s a very cool concept. Go to their projects page and you can either search or browse the various projects. There are several search options–zip code, cause, level of need and so on. When you are viewing projects, you’ll see that some projects have corporate matching options next to them–if you pledge to help that project, a corporation may be offering to match your donation.

So how do you win? Well, we need to get to the first step. For the next 48 hours only, now until 9 PM EST on Thursday night–you leave a comment on this blog, listing the link to your specific project on Donors Choose and why I should choose them. One entry per person please. I will look at the entries, and pick ten. Then, beginning Friday morning, I will post another blog entry where you can vote for your project. You can vote daily from January 27-February 4.

I will be choosing the ten projects based on need, poverty level, and well, to be honest–I do have a softspot for kids with special needs and projects in the Philadelphia area. That’s not to say if you don’t live near here that you shouldn’t try–because if I get less than ten entries, you’re automatically in for voting.

The voting will be done on Rafflecopter and I’ll explain the specifics in that post when it’s done.

Please note that all comments on this blog are moderated due to heavy spamming, so your comment may not immediately appear.

And I love the Savings.com community and am so proud to be one of their DealPros. It’s giveaways like this that really show their commitment to the community!

Please note–depending on number of entries, I may raise the number beyond 10. However, it will not be less than 10, unless we don’t receive 10 entries.
