Acme Brags-here are mine, share yours!

Here are my two receipts from yesterday and today. First one is from yesterday, 79% savings. That purchase included 10 boxes of Rice Krispies, 5 bags of M&Ms, 5 reusable grocery tote bags and 3 catalinas for a FREE gallon of milk. Plus, I’ve already clipped the UPCs and have submitted my $10 rebate.

Then, today’s weekly trip:

I always aim for 50% savings on my weekly trip and usually land between 30-50%. But, look at the item count-78 items. Then, if total the number of store coupons, mfr coupons etc., it comes to 86. That means that I had at least one deal-a sale, store coupon or mfr coupon, for every item. That’s right, if it’s not on sale or I don’t have a coupon, unless it’s absolutely necessary, we don’t buy it. I had several produce coupons this week too (look for peelies on the Kellogg’s!) which helped boost this along.

I’m having a great week there. I have plenty of food, plus I stuck to my budget-I aim for $100.

Land O Lakes-trying the printable links again

I’ve heard from a few people that they are having trouble printing the Land O Lakes printables I posted the other day. I’m not sure what happened, they still work fine for me when I click them, although it tells me my print limit is reached, since I’ve already printed them.

Anyway, hotcouponworld is down for maintenance right now so I can’t check the database for links. I did a google search and this is what I came up with, I hope some of them work. I’m just going to put the whole link down instead of hyperlinking like usual, so that it has less chance of being a broken link.

http://printablecouponspot.com/?s=land+o+lakes (brings up several diff links to try)

Remember, it’s $1.50 at Acme this week–so a great deal with some of these printables. Regular butter, regular non-sale price is over $5 a pound!

Kellogg’s deal at Acme gets even better!

Hopefully your store has these additional add-ons to make this offer even sweeter, quite literally.

Rice Krispies-included in buy 3, get free milk promo at a price of 3 for $5.

Tote bags-get 1 free with every 2 boxes of Kellogg’s you purchase. Display in front of end cap.

Peelies-get a FREE bag of M&Ms, 9.9oz+, when you buy 2 Rice Krispies. Coincidentally, they are on sale for $2.99, the max value of peelie.

So-10 boxes of Rice Krispies, 3 coupons for FREE gallon of milk, 5 tote bags, 5 bags of M&Ms-paid $11.67 (I had $1 off 2s for the cereal). And Rice Krispies are eligible for the $10 rebate!

I hope your Acme has the tote bags & M&Ms peelies, please leave a comment re: your store and the status, thanks!

No coupons? No problem! Acme, Walgreen’s, CVS-March 21

I am an Extreme Couponer. No, I’ve never gone into a store and gotten an entire pallet of cereal for free. But I do get multiple inserts each week, know all the policies and promos of my stores and have a decent enough stockpile in my basement that gives me enough ‘street cred’ with the other extreme couponers.

But it’s not for everyone, heck, some people never, ever want to clip a coupon! That doesn’t mean that there aren’t decent deals to be had. I used to do a regular feature called “No coupons, no problem” but have gotten away from it. Thank you to my new friend Alissa at Fun Finds for Families for reminding me that clipping coupons isn’t for everyone. So here you go, here are a few quick easy deals without clipping any coupons.

Acme-Acme is running a promo this week where you buy 10 items from a select list (on back page of flyer) and they’ll deduct $5 total, or $0.50 from each item. Propel is on the list. Propel is $1, so if you buy ten, only $0.50 per. And, many shoppers have spotted $1 off 2 peelie/sticky coupons stuck to the bottles of Propel. Tip: the Avondale Acme was completely wiped out of Propel yesterday, so methinks that the bottles had the peelies on them. After all, it’s not rocket science. If you’re staring a sign that is advertising the item for $0.50 and you spot those coupons………well, easy math! If you’re going to Acme anyway, can’t hurt to look. Deal runs through Thursday.

Another Acme deal: Log your Acme card into your e-savings. Ok, this might be a little bit of work, sorry. But it’s not clipping coupons! Look at what offers you got loaded on to your card. Did you get the $0.50 or $0.75 off Fresh Express? Guess what? It’s on sale for $1 this week, so you’ll only pay $0.25 or $0.50 per bag. I wish spinach had a longer shelf life! So I got some yesterday, and I’ll go back on Thursday, the last day of the deal and get more. We’ll be out of milk or bananas by then anyway.

Walgreen’s: This week at Walgreen’s, Almay cosmetics are 30% off. In addition, if you buy one, you’ll get $5 back in Register Rewards. So, if you needed to purchase something there anyway this week, look for an Almay item first, one that is on sale for $5 or less. Pay for it, get your $5 RR. Now, go get the item that you came in for, and pay for it with your $5 RR.

CVS: Got allergy problems? CVS has Allegra on sale this week for $6.99. Buy it with your CVS shopper card, get $6.99 back in Extra Care Bucks. Same premise as the Walgreen’s deal–if you need something there anyway this week, get the Allegra first. Then grab your $6.99 and go use that to purchase whatever it is that you needed.
