Any idea how long prices will stay high on PB? I’ve got a small stockpile and plan on buying more, but I go through A LOT of it and was wondering just how much I should stock up to make it through until prices come back down.
Well, all the articles I’ve read say that the crisis is related to weather and peanut growing. So I would assume that if next year/growing season, they have a normal season and normal amounts of crops, it would come down again. Then again, if someone in the Middle East sneezes, our gas prices go up a dollar, and they never come back down to reasonable. I hope peanut butter isn’t the same way, but I’m cynical like that. I had a decent stockpile myself, but my 2-year-old has been requesting pb & j every day, so it’s quickly diminishing!
