Oral B Stages, Crest & Winnie the Pooh party

I recently had the opportunity to host a small party sponsored by Oral B Stages and Crest. It was a Winnie the Pooh movie party. Our party was held the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at my friend Laura’s house. In attendance was our usual gang of friends, or, as my 2-year-old never fails to remind me, “MY friends.” To prep for the party, I assembled the gift bags that were provided by Mommy Parties.

Swag bags!

Each bag contained an Oral B stages toothbrush and toothpaste, with various Disney characters on them. They also got a Pooh body wash in lavender scent which we are just loving!  The moms got some coupons, jelly beans and some information about Oral B products. My two boys each got a toothpaste–one with Cars on it, one with Toy Story. It’s been kind of an issue, because neither of them understands the concept of spitting it out and I don’t want them swallowing it. And they don’t understand why they can’t use their Toy Story toothpaste! For now, I’ve hidden it in the hall closet. We’ll revisit it in a few months.

At the party, we talked about the importance of brushing your teeth and some healthy snack options. We were provided a cute set of flash cards which we reviewed several times. It was also a great opportunity to remind everyone about taking turns. We also snacked on the popcorn provided and the containers made us feel like we were at a real movie theatre while we watched Pooh. It was a really nice way to start out holiday weekend. The flash cards, the movie, the goody bags–it all made tooth brushing seem fun! I know mine can’t wait to use their new toothbrushes each day.

Here are our movie goers. Our youngest recently turned one and we had a few 5-year-olds in the crowd. I was very surprised at how well behaved they all were!

If you get a chance, check out the Oral B stages products at your local market. I was surprised to learn that they break it down into age groups. And my boys are much more interested in the Disney stuff, as compared to the plain boring stuff they get from the dentist.

Yummy popcorn!
