Yes, most likely, that’s what you say. It’s been there since 1954 and it’s still there today. Except it has many cooler things now too….like a space exhibit and the Dead Sea Scrolls. I just love science and can’t wait until my kids are old enough to enjoy the Franklin Institute.

I never went as a kid, since I’m not from here. But my kids have never been, and they’re just about the right age.
The last time I went was 1991. My kids have gone with school and love it. I keep meaning to get back there, but never get around to it!

While I do recall going there as a child and learning about the future that included these things called computers, a more recent memory was going there for my husband’s office Christmas party. It was a number of years ago, but there was open bar and the museum was only open to oarty guests. The exhibits were definitely different after a few glasses of wine! The heart seemed much smaller as an adult!
I’m not originally from here, either, so I don’t have any childhood memories. BUT my son and I have raced around that giant heart quite a few times when we had our membership a couple years ago. I’d love to go back now that my daughter’s old enough to explore with us!
