CuddleUppets, a Fun Review

We were recently asked to review CuddleUppets by Jay at Play.  My 9 year old was excited that he was the lucky recipient of this product. He has waited patiently for his turn to “review something” so here is my interview with him.

Me: So, you got to review CuddleUppets for Jay at Play. Which one did you choose? And why?

E:  I chose the green alligator.  I just sort of like alligators.

Me: What do you  like about your CuddleUppet?

E: I like that it’s a puppet, and how like, some other people I know like it to. It’s really good for babies because they like the head. it’s really comfy so it’s great for winter. The best part is that it’s a blanket AND a puppet.

Me: What DON’T you like about it?

E: Nothing.

Me: Anything else you would like to tell people about the CuddleUppet?

E: CuddleUppets are good for like, all ages. Umm, they have a couple choices – an blue elephant, a pink poodle, green alligator, brown bear, yellow puppy,  and purple monkey.  They are really good for special occasions.

Me: What kind of special occasions?

E: Birthdays, Christmas. That’s all.

Me: Thanks so much for giving us your time today, E.

Now for a mom’s perspective. The CuddleUppet is really well made, and has this luxuriously(see, a mom term) soft plush feel. My son loves his and not only uses it for bed but chases his brother and sister around the house with it. I love that CuddleUppets create an opportunity for imaginative play. Like my son said, “They are good for babies”. However, he means they are great to entertain babies. The product is meant for ages 3+. I would like it if the blanket part was just a little bigger so he could really curl up and have it cover him.

The only other thing that is a stretch for me, as a cheap mama, is the price. I definitely do think the price is worth it for a “special occasion”. You can buy them at CuddleUppets    for $19.99 + S&H. I have also seen them at the As Seen on TV Store in the mall.

CuddleUppets can also be found on Facebook and Twitter.

Disclosure: I received a free CuddleUppet to review. As usual all opinions are my own.
