My house smells like dogs, so…….

Good thing there are good deals this week on various air fresheners.

Giant/Airwick Mini: On sale at Giant for $4.49, get your $4 internet printable coupon here and make yours $0.49! This website let me print 4.

CVS/Glade: Many Glade items at CVS are giving $1 ECB back when you purchase. Use the Glade coupons from today’s paper to make for some very good deals. They also had the Trio clearanced (only at Newark Rd location, not Jennersville) and there’s a $3 coupon out for it in today’s paper. The melting refill thingys–I got three 3-packs of those for $0.66 a piece after coupons and ECBs.

Happy Shopping.

BOGO Mania begins today at CVS

Today is the start of a new week of deals at CVS. If you have the right coupons, it means lots of freebies. It is part of CVS’s published coupon policy to accept a bogo coupon in conjunction with a bogo sale. Here is a list from hotcouponworld of FAQs about CVS and their coupon policy. Even though it is a part of their corporate policy, ymmv. That means Your Mileage May Vary–the store manager has the right to decline your coupon. I have found that Jennersville, Kennett (route 1) and the Landenberg locations all will honor this.

Trident: Trident is buy one, get one this week. There also are many bogo coupons out there for this–found on tearpads, some of today’s newspapers got them too. So your transaction should look like this:
1.49 trident
0.00 bogo trident
Pay with your bogo coupon, and since you purchased 2, you’ll get $1 ECB. The $1 ECB is a monthly deal that CVS is running, it just happens to overlap with this bogo deal and a coupon.

L’oreal Vive: This shampoo is also bogo at CVS this week, so it could mean two bottles of shampoo for free. The bogo coupon was in last Sunday’s paper. If CVS won’t take this coupon, try Rite Aid. I have not tried to do this at the Kennett Rite Aid, but many people have good experiences there with this policy.

Other deals this week:
Pepsi: is four 12-packs for $8 after ECB.
Baby: buy $15 worth of CVS brand baby products, get $5 ECB back. Check store for specific items.

Happy Shopping.

Rite Aid in Kennett–Grand Opening deals

CVS keeps me pretty busy and I’m not looking to add another store to my repetoire. But all month they’ve been celebrating their Grand Opening and some of the deals were too good to pass up. I got Kraft Mac & Cheese for $0.50 a box, and Bounty for $0.38 a roll.

Next week–from July 23 to 29, here are some highlights:

Electrasol: Two for $3! By itself this is a fantastic price–if you have the $2.25 off coupon from the 7/13 paper, even better–you’ll probably get overage. So get two boxes for $0.75. They also are offering a $2 rebate, so you could work it that Rite Aid pays you $1.25 to take two boxes of Electrasol off their hands.

Tums: $0.77 and there are lots of $1 coupons out there if you clip coupons.

Vive: the shampoo is bogo, so if you have the bogo coupon from the 7/13 paper, two free bottles of shampoo.

CVS-July 18 & 19

Last 2 days to take care of this deal. CVS sales always end on Saturdays–so hurry!

Photobooks are free after ECBs this week at CVS. The 4×6″ one is 3.99 and will give you 3.99 back. The 6×8″ one is 7.99 and will give you 7.99 back in ECBs.

What are ECBs? ECB stands for Extra Care Bucks–it’s like play money you can use at CVS. You can “roll” ECBs, that is, use your ECBs to pay for an item that generates even more ECBs, thus paying nothing oop (out of pocket).

If you have photos you’ve been meaning to print, now is a great time. Their machines take just about any format, CD rom, cards, flash drives. I made several the other evening and was really pleased with the quality.

Have fun.
