Triples at Superfresh again, what to do what to do

Superfresh is running triples again Fri-Mon. I’m not sure where to go this week. The Kellogg’s is going to be super-cheap at either Acme or SF, if you have the $0.70 coupons. At Acme we should get overage, at SF it will be $0.40 a box.

I got my ads today and I’m not that thrilled about the P&G deal, but maybe my brain isn’t spitting out deals yet. And we don’t know if shelf prices are working yet. Here is the Superfresh thread about the triples. And here is the one for the Acme deal.

Of course I could go into labor and end up not going to either store…………..

P&G/Pepsi deal coming to Acme

Starting Friday, Acme is running a P&G and Pepsi deal. Buy $20 worth, get $5 oyno. That’s all I know for right now, haven’t seen a list of participating products, don’t know if shelf prices will work and all that. Guess we’ll all just have to wait & see…….who knows if I’ll even make it there! But I would be interested in Gatorade & Pampers.

Decent Superfresh trip, No IPs

I learned that SF does not accepts IPs. I didn’t have too many so it didn’t really bother me. They also do not carry the Muir Glen tomatoes, which was a bummer. They should be about a nickel a can after triples, and I have 12 or so coupons and actually need tomatoes. I’ll have to settle for Acme and hope they go on sale soon.

Other good items after triples: Chex Mix, Lipton tea, Celestial seasonings tea, Campbell’s select harvest soup, Paul Newman stuff (salsa and lemonade) and lots of other stuff.

I spent $164, had $169 in coupons, so over a 50% savings.

Venus gift pack works

I had $4 in ECBs that were going to expire tomorrow. My plan was to get the Fusion, pay with $4 coupon and $4 ECBs, get $4 ECBs back. Of course the Landenberg CVS was out of the Gamer, only one giving ECBs. I didn’t feel like looking around for another transaction to put together, so I figured I’d sacrifice $2 ECBs and get the Venus. The coupons out for this are only $2. I saw the gift pack and took it over to the scanner, said it was on sale for $7.99. So I figured I’d try it and see if it also gives the ECBs. It did.

Big green box, has shaving cream and Olay lotion in addition to the razor. Nice change from the zillion Fusions we already have.

ETA: I read that the Fusion gift packs work too. Whatever you choose, run it under the in-store scanner first, see if it says it’s on sale for $7.99. If it is, good chance it will produce the ECBs.
