We are having a record year here in the northeast. Global warming naysayers, I hope you’re eating crow right about now. We have extreme highs, record lows–and while we’re having record snowfalls & rainfalls and flooding, other areas are having record droughts. So many people have experienced flooding this year, it feels like the states around here are always under a state of emergency. Luckily, while our road and town floods all the time, our house sits high enough that we escape it. We won’t ever have a finished basement though, we get water in it all the time.
