Use meal planning to save $$ at the grocery store

I know I keep gushing about how much I love this Food on the Table–but I really do love it. And……..an added benefit that I’m seeing–I’m saving about 20-30% at the grocery store! Before I would write down a few meal ideas, but I wasn’t very good about checking to see which recipe items I already had in my pantry, nor did I really have a good plan. Sometimes I bought stuff to make too many meals, and if I didn’t do them=wasted food, usually produce.

I love that this FREE offer gives you 4 meals–that’s perfect for me. That way, one night we eat leftovers, another night I can plan on pasta & sauce, which we always have and my kids love, and another night is open for pizza or tomato soup & grilled cheese, or something easy like that. With a definite plan and ingredient list, I am seeing tons of savings at the store.

If you sign up, you’ll probably get an email, or, when you go to use it, occasionally you’ll get pop-up screens prompting you to pay. You don’t have to pay! Click yourself out of the screen or ignore the email. It will still work, you just can’t go beyond 4 meals with the free plan. You can pick  vegan, gluten-free, all that stuff–and you can pick which store you want to shop at–it will do price comparisons for you. Try it out, I hope you like it as much as I do. This week–I’m having some coffee marinated pork tenderloin! Very anxious to try it.
