Overall, I think this week at Acme is pretty blah. Glad I don’t need anything. There is a Procter & Gamble deal, spend $30, get a free $15 Itunes card. In some cases it does seem to be overlapping with another deal, where you’ll also get a $5 catalina coupon good towards your next trip.
Remember, these deals work off of shelf prices, not sale prices. So use the shelf price to calculate your total to get to $30, then pay the sale price minus any coupons of course. The exception is items on “knockdown.” It is the knockdown price, not the shelf price, that will go towards your total.
I will be going in for the Kelloggs deal. They have select items, some cereals, some cookies, and what I’m after–the Nutri Grain bars, on sale for $1.50 each when you buy 8. We go through tons of these, my kids love them. There are coupons out to go with this–in today’s paper there’s a $0.75 off 1 Nutri Grain coupon, which means it will double to make the items free. If you don’t have those, look at the boxes of Kelloggs in your pantry, some are specially marked with a “$5 in savings” and they have coupons inside. They are $1 off two Nutri Grain coupons, so it reduces the price to $1 per box. That’s definitely a stockpile price for me, since these are usually $4.99 per box.
Happy couponing & good luck putting your P&G transactions together–let me know how they turn out.
