Back in the spring, there was this overlap day at Acme where two catalinas were printing out for 4 boxes of Kelloggs–a double dip. It was a decent moneymaker for me, and the boxes I did pay for, I only paid $0.25.
The deal was 4 boxes for $10, and two catalinas would come out–a $4 and a $3. So even the worst case scenario, without any coupons, was that you’d pay $0.75 box. But I had several $0.75/1s that are true doubles, and lots of $1/2s. You had to do the deal in increments of 4, and I got 52 boxes of cereal.
I’m not much of a rebate person, but I was on hcw and saw a few references to this Kellogg’s $10 rebate wyb 10 items. I searched long & hard and posted several times on the hcw trade board and got nothing.
So I wrote an email to Kellogg’s, asking them if perhaps they could send me the rebates. They wrote back and said NO, but that they would send me a $10 voucher good for any Kellogg’s products. Ok, good. Better than nothing, right?
I did one last try on a trade and scored 4 rebates.
Then, this morning, while rearranging my stockpile, I noticed something on the Mini Wheats Little Bites. They have codes, and you enter 6 codes and get one free movie pass to ANY Disney or Pixar film. I have 12 of these specially marked boxes.
So, right now, my count is—
52 boxes of cereal
$10 voucher for Kellogg’s
$40 in rebate money
two movie passes
All for free!
And I thought that all the free cereal was great–I was so excited because for a change it was the bigger boxes of cereal instead of the smaller ones. But this deal just keeps going and going…..wonder what will turn up next?
