We are such slackers. We had most of our tax stuff ready to go about a month ago but just never got around to finalizing the paperwork to send to our accountant. Today is THE day. Use H & R Block’s free online program to file your Federal taxes for FREE. Then decide if you want to file State taxes through them for a small fee (really, it is small compared to a CPA) or paper file the state ones.
Best of all, there is no gimmick. You don’t enter you credit card information until you are satisfied and ready to submit them. I even tried it out to make sure.
