Tropical Traditions: Free Shipping TODAY ONLY

I love to find the best deal around. I’m sure that’s no surprise though. I tend to suffer sticker shock very easily. This is why I was happy to try Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil for FREE a few months ago. It isn’t the cheapest product on the planet.

However, here is what I found. I held it up to the original coconut oil I had purchased and noticed immediately the color of Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil was much more pure.  Then I tasted it. Again, Tropical Traditions pulled through. The taste and texture of their product was hands above the other product I had in my cabinet.  My stock is running low so I think it’s time to order more! I will never grab another jar of  my original product. In fact, I am wondering if I will ever be able finish the jar sitting in my cabinet.

Today Tropical Traditions has FREE SHIPPING on select items.  Read all the details on what is excluded before purchasing and use code 14512 at check out.

Review and Giveaway: Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil

Last week I came home to a package by my door. The Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil I had been anxiously waiting to review had arrived.  You can click HERE to learn more about what Virgin Coconut Oil is.

I was so excited but too tired from work to make something that day so the next morning I made Scrumptious Pineapple Carrot Muffins.  This is the perfect recipe to try Coconut Oil in since the pineapple already has that tropical taste to it. The coconut oil was so easy to work with. Since it is cooler weather the oil is in a solid form and I needed to melt it, but that was a small extra step that was completely worth my time.  I scooped out the amount I needed and put it in a glass canning jar to melt. It took about 30 seconds in the microwave but you could also melt it on the stove quickly. It has a subtle coconut scent and flavor which played perfectly with the pineapple in the recipe. At the same time it was subtle enough not to bother the coconut “hater” in my house.  We don’t use vegetable oil in our house and I find that sometimes the olive oil flavor changes the flavor of baked goods in a way that isn’t so pleasant. Coconut oil takes care of that problem for me.  Don’t want the coconut flavor? They have a flavor free coconut oil too.

I also love the coconut oil added to rice and I use it in place of shortening  for icing. It made the best melt in your mouth frosting ever! I haven’t used it for pie crust yet but am trying that in the near future. To be honest I even used a little on my hands to help moisturize them-it made them so soft.  Tropical Traditions also has many more suggestions for ways to use their product. Plus, with your first purchase through any of my links you will receive a free copy of their book Virgin Coconut Oil, which includes recipes and benefits of coconut oil.
