Possible good Pampers deal at Target

I got this one in my email:

Care for your newborn with the softness of Swaddlers, now with Wetness Indicator*. And for babies on the move, new Cruisers offer the softness of Swaddlers** and feature 3-way fit so your baby can play freely.

Stop by your local Target store between 8/8 – 8/13 and receive a $20 Target GiftCard with the purchase of 2 of these great products:

 160-ct or larger Pampers Swaddlers
 92-ct or larger Pampers Cruisers

I think that the 92ct boxes are usually around $20, so essentially you pay about $40, get $20 back. $2 coupons from last week’s paper. Look for the specially marked packages that contain either a small thing of wipes, or a coupon booklet–I’ve seen both at stores.

This is a good deal, half off sort of–for those that don’t like to clip coupons and shop at Target. Even better, I’d get 4 boxes. Pay for first 2, get $20 gc. Get second set of 2, use $20 gc and $20, get $20 back. Then you’d spent $60 oop, and you have four big boxes of Pampers and a $20 gift card.

Diaper prices this week, May 1

Pampers coupons in today’s paper, Huggies was 4/17 inserts. Pampers/Luvs rarely if ever does printables. Huggies does quite often, check coupons dot com toolbar on this blog. Remember to use a phone/calculator to determine price per diaper that you’re paying. Try to stay at $0.20 per diaper or less. Under $0.02 each per wipe. Under $0.15 per diaper or $0.01 per wipe is my stockup price.

Target-has big boxes of both for 19.99/each. $5 gc wyb two boxes.

Kmart-no Huggies sale listed. Pampers is a P&G item and they are running a $10/$35 promo. I would get four jumbo packs to put me over the $35 limit, then use four coupons.

CVS-nothing listed, assume regular prices

Walgreens-has their store brand on sale for $5.99. Use the $2 coupon from infant care booklet to pay $3.99 each. That gets you down to about $0.12-$0.15 per diaper! Ask for the $2 coupon back, but ymmv. They are allowed to return it to you, but don’t have to. And one coupon should take $2 off of every pack you get.

Acme-big box is 19.99 and included in the $5/$20 P&G deal. But you’ll have to buy a cheap P&G filler item, or something you need, to get over the $20.

Giant-this is my plan. Will update you if it works.

My two picks for this week would be the Walgreens deal if you have the infant care booklet. That’s the easiest deal-no rebates to be bothered with or catalinas to roll. But I love Pampers best, so for that reason, I’m still going to try Giant.

Saturday Errand Picks-Lowe’s, Walgreen’s, CVS, Target, DG-freebies!

Yes, I’m doing this post early, I don’t normally do it until Friday night or Saturday morning. But I just got so busy this week and overlooked some deals or didn’t get around to posting them, sorry! Sometimes it’s very slow in trying to find deals, sometimes there are too many to keep track. And some of these deals are good and you may want to do them Friday or Saturday, so as not to miss out.

Lowe’s has a $10 off $50 offer available.

CVS-Physician’s Formula, offering a $7 Extra Care Buck when you buy any Physician’s Formula item. It’s reported to be working on all PF items, even those that are less than $7. NOT clearance items. To make it better, some of the items have a “try me free” rebate form stuck to them as a peelie. Remember that this rebate is only up to $11, so even if you spend more than that, you’ll only get $11 back. And, it’s limit 1 per household, so if you’ve already done it (I have) you may not get your check in the mail. But, there also are $5 off PF coupons spitting out of the magic coupon scanner, I was unfortunately not lucky enough to get one. Still I found a cool eyeliner I wanted to try for $7.89, used the $1 coupon from the 3/20 inserts and got my $7 back. You can stack both coupons if you are lucky enough to get the $5 one.

Target-the 3/13 inserts had $2 coupons for Purex crystals. On the Target website, there is a $1 store printable. Stack the coupons and get the item, currently on sale for $2.99, for FREE! (Locals, I won’t be using my coupons, will bring them on Saturday if anyone wants to run up there Sat. & get them.) Target website will limit you to two prints per computer.

Dollar General-for Saturday only, there is a $5/$20 apparel-only coupon. Good only Saturday. Oops, already said that. But I’ve found Sesame Street licensed apparel there before, for cheap. And I know my friends have found cute things there too–they carry Fisher Price and some Health Tex, I forget what other brands for kids. For adults, think of work t-shirts or stuff like that. They also sell scrubs if you need an extra set or two for your job.

See, that is a LOT of deals, too much to do in one day!
