Talking to kids about difficult subjects is never easy. Heck, it’s hard for adults to comprehend. They ask such innocent and probing questions. Sesame Street has a bunch of good video clips from when Mr. Hooper died.
First, in this clip, Big Bird learns (or is reminded) that his friend Mr. Hooper has died. It feels so genuine, probably because it was, as the actor who was Mr. Hooper had died.
