50% off Summer at Big Lots

I just got an e-mail from Big Lots that all of their summer merchandise is 50% off, today through next Tuesday. I have found great deals on gardening items there. They have really nice pots & planters at good prices.

Acme ad-Aug 15-21

Sorry for the delay–my brain is still on vacation. Here are a few of cheap items I see in the ad after coupons.

Ragu- 4 for $4, must buy 4. There were $1 off 2 coupons in yesterday’s paper, so 0.50 each.

Minute Maid drinks-$1 each, lots of coupons out there, varying in value from 0.25 to 0.55. After doubling, these drinks will be cheap. They are very good and refreshing if you mix them with seltzer.

Grapes-1.29/lb., cheapest I’ve seen in a while.

Hatfield pork chops- $1.79/lb., $1 coupons out there.

Bisquick-$2.50 for the big box; $0.60 printable here. Makes it $1.30.

Wishbone-4 for $6, must buy 4. Depending on which coupon you have, very cheap or free. There are $0.75 coupons out there from a couple of weeks ago, so then it would be free.

South Beach–all of these items are on sale, double check the sale prices with what e-coupons you get on your Avenu, and they’ll be really cheap or free. And don’t forget, if you buy 2, 3 or 4 of these items, you’ll get a catalina for $$ off your next order.

Dannon-items are on sale, again, check it with your Avenu.

Beef tenderloin is 7.99/lb again, must buy whole tenderloin. I was pretty disappointed with the one I got though. Lots of waste on it.

Dansko-Grand Opening

The Dansko outlet is having their grand opening today. There is a 20% off coupon that is good until the end of September. I would assume it’s going to be a mob scene there today, since people come from all over to go there.

CVS & Walgreen’s: week of Aug 17

There is really nothing that interests me in the CVS ad. After ECBs, the Crest is 0.99 again, so if you have any $1 coupons left, good time to use them up. This is why I prefer the CVS program to the Walgreen’s RR program overall–ECBs usually have a month expiration date as compared to 2 weeks with RRs. So if nothing interests me, I just don’t go for a few weeks.

Walgreen’s: more good deals on school supplies if you’re not finished yet. Sharpies for $0.39 each if you need them. A few decent RR deals, but nothing that I see that will be free.
There’s a RR deal on Skippy and Ragu, and there should be Skippy coupons in tomorrow’s paper. Cereal deal on GM brand cereals.

Dove shampoo products are bogo, so 2 for 4.99. $2 coupons coming in tomorrow’s paper, and you should be able to use two coupons, so 2 products for $0.99. YMMV as far as using a coupon on the free item, I’ve done it at CVS, never at Walgreen’s.
