Last week in the ValPak envelope, there was an ad for Stamp Out Hunger, which is May 9. It’s a Saturday. On that day, if you put canned goods/non-perishables out at your mailbox, your mail carrier will pick them up. This gives all of us several weeks to clean out your stockpiles–if you got too much of something, got something your family doesn’t like, or if you see any “free” stuff over the next 3 weeks, get it ready. Food banks are really hurting right now, so try to donate.

Brut-some stuff for $1, free if you have recent $1 coupons.
Sea Breeze-$1, I think I have $0.35 or $0.50 coupons from recent inserts.
Big meat sale-says up to 50% off.
Overall, not too much to get excited about. I have something to return at Walmart, so if I get to do that this week, I will stop in for the Viva.
And as an FYI–the ad says they give bag rebates of 0.01 or 0.02 if you use reusable bags. I do use reusable bags almost all the time, but don’t think I’ve ever gotten a credit. Sure, it may only be a dime here and there, but dimes add up to dollars! Speak up & make sure you get your credit.

Ragu-$0.98 a jar, must buy 4. I know I have coupons for $0.35 off one (which will double!) and $1 off 3. Good price if you like Ragu.
Kellogg’s-50% off, good time to use the $1 off one coupons that were in a few weeks ago, if you didn’t get your fill of Kellogg’s the past few weeks.
Dannon-20 for $10, will be a good deal if you still have $1 off 10 coupons and you get the $0.50 off two on your Avenu.
Kraft mac & cheese-still $0.50 a box, a toddler staple in our house.
Pepsico deal- includes Pepsi, Gatorade, Sobe, Tropicana and more. Buy $15, get a free t-shirt. Make sure you look for the $2 peelies on the Gatorade at the Avondale Acme.
GM cereals-4 for $10, buy 4, get a free milk cat.
Conagra Products-Buy $25, get $10 oyno: includes Pam, Peter Pan PB, Manwich, Hunt’s, and more.
Breyer’s is bogo and I’m pretty sure there are coupons out for this. Remember Acme will take 2 coupons on a bogo.
Freschetta frozen pizza-$5.99, I still have some $0.75 coupons left and this is our favorite frozen pizza.
Kotex lightdays are $1, if you have the recent $1 off any Kotex-free!
Greenworks cleaning- b2g1 free, recent $1 coupons for this, so you should be able to use three $1 coupons on this deal.
10% gift card bonus at Acme

This the last week to get the gift card bonus at Acme. If you buy a $300 gift card, they’ll give you an extra $30. A good deal if you have the cash on hand.
Remember–studies show that consumers are less likely to care about prices when paying with a gift card, so be just as savvy and frugal when using it.
