Prior to holding the coupon class that I held last month, I emailed the Giant moderator on hotcouponworld. She said that catalina deals at Giant work on shelf prices, not sale prices. If that is true, there are some possible freebies next week.

Deal is: Spend $25, get $10 OR spend $15, get $5; for these items:

Isn’t the shelf price for Breyers about $6.29? That’s what it is at Acme. Therefore four of them would take you to $25, but only cost $10, get $10 back!

That is what I would do to get started, if you don’t have any coupons. Then just roll that $10 catalina until you run out of room in your freezer! There are lots of higher value coupons to go with this deal, so get to your spending threshold using shelf prices, then pay sale price minus coupons.

Hmmm, I may actually go to Giant next week for my regular weekly trip. They seem to have overall the best deals and prices.

FREE Pasta wyb (2) Ragu pasta sauces up to $1.25 (4/10)-I would use this at Superfresh this week, or hang on to it for a possible other Unilever deal that may come up. Has a short exp date though, so if you need pasta & sauce, SF is your best bet for it.

CG is another P&G product, so I would keep an eye out for P&G deals.  It’s also always on sale at Kmart, CVS and Walgreens for either bogo or 40% off or Register Rewards…..just remember, for bogo sales you can use a coupon on each item. And for all those stores, you can stack it with a store coupon.
Crest any toothpaste 4.0oz. or more, or liquid gel $0.50/1 (4/30) Limit 4 like Coupons; Acme & Superfresh will double this to $1, and they frequently put crest on sale for $1.

Crest 3D White or 2-hr Express or Professional Effects Whitestrips $10/1 (4/30) Limit 4 like Coupons; hang on to it; it was not too long ago that these were a steal at CVS

If you are able to get your Sunday papers on Saturday, you may want to take these coupons to Kmart. They are part of the catalina deals I posted yesterday. Or, it is on a RR deal at Walgreen’s starting 3/13.
