Diapers & wipes price roundup, week of November 20

Huggies coupons were 11/20, Pampers coupons were 10/30.

My pricing guidelines: anything under $0.15 per diaper or $0.02 per wipe–stock up. I won’t pay $0.03 a wipe unless I have to, won’t pay more than $0.20 a diaper unless I have to.

Acme

In-ad store coupon for $2 off a big box of Huggies or Pullups, makes it $17.99 after store coupon. You should be able to stack with a mfr coupon as well as the $2 Saving Star if you haven’t used it yet. Big thing of Huggies wipes is $6.29

Amazon- My Amazon pick this week is Luvs. If you pick Subscribe & Save, most sizes work out to be around $0.15 per diaper.

CVS

Big Box of Pampers is $18.99 with $4 back in Extra Care Bucks. Store brand wipes-tubs are 2 for $5. It is also being reported that some are getting a nice $4 coupon from the magic coupon scanner.

Giant

Huggies jumbo packs and big wipes refill are part of a “Spend $30, get $10 off your next order” promo. No prices listed. Will work on sale prices, not shelf prices.

Kmart

Nothing in ad as far as diaper sales, but they are running doubles this week. They also have a loyalty card, but I do not remember if they are included in Saving Star.

Superfresh

Running a $5/$25 catalina offer on P&G items. Should still work on shelf prices (the catalina offer from last week did) and Pampers jumbo packs are included at $9.99 a pack. I do not know what shelf price is. Also includes Luvs at $5.99 a jumbo pack.

Target

Huggies and Pampers jumbo packs are $8.99 each. Buy 3 and get a $5 gift card. Could be a great deal if you have enough of the $3 Huggies coupons!

Walgreens

Big thing of Huggies wipes is $5.99. Huggies Jumbo packs are $9.49 with $2.50 back in Register Rewards. Since Walgreens doesn’t have a card program, no way to stack the Saving Star.

Announcement–new writers on Smart Spending Spot team!

For 3.5 years, this has been a one-woman show. Except for the nuts and bolts that my host company handles, everything else on this site is done by me! Ack–it’s a lot of work.

And with increased readership comes increased emails to respond to, as well as multiple social media sites to tend to and so on. It’s been very difficult these past few weeks to still bring you the normal weekly stuff I do and try to include holiday and Black Friday/Cyber Monday stuff.

Luckily, I have great friends who are also great at finding deals. Say hello to Heather and Courtney! Heather is also a southern Chester county resident and knows all the same stores I do. Courtney lives in New Jersey and among other interests, is the HCW moderator for ShopRite. Additonally another local friend, Laura, may be picking up some stray things here & there.

Right now, I’m still working out some bugs with my host company to get them their own IDs on here, so just look for who signed off on the post.

Hopefully this will enable us to bring you all the Smart Spending tips!

Win a Teleflora centerpiece~$54.95 value

Wondering what you’re going to bring to Thanksgiving dinner? Or maybe you’re doing the hostessing and the cooking and don’t have time to worry about Thanksgiving flowers and centerpieces. Look at this beautiful arrangement from Teleflora flowers.

It’s called the Family Gathering Centerpiece.

Graciously gather your family around the warm glow and classic autumn colors of this stunning Thanksgiving centerpiece. A lush variety of burnt orange blooms are gathered under a pair of tall, graceful candles perfect for decorating your Thanksgiving dinner table, entryway or hearth.

  • Fall flowers include orange roses, orange asiatic lilies, dark orange alstroemeria, bronze button mums, yellow cushion mums, rust cushion mums, green oregonia and green huckleberry.
  • Accented with oak leaves and two orange taper candles.
  • Approximately 22″ W x 16″ H

I love autumn and autumn decorations. And while I love the holidays, I am always sad to see the fall decorations get packed up. Luckily this arrangement will last a long time, so no hurry!

Here is your chance to win one, the entry form is below. I will pick the winner (using Rafflecopter) and try to contact them as early as possible on Tuesday. As soon as I get your information back, I will pass it on.
