But I don’t want to clip coupons……….

There are many other reasons to join hotcouponworld, even if you don’t clip coupons.

There are LOTS of other deals posted. Like this thread dedicated just to gift card deals throughout the holiday season. You can also find vacation deals and so much more. If you shop at places that don’t take coupons, such as some of the warehouse clubs, you’ll find tips to increase your savings.

Each of the forums frequently runs contests for the members. And whaddya know, I’m running one this month. Why not join in? There’s also a forum just for sweepstakes entries so if you like to enter contests, they’re all in one place. There are blogs, recipes, saving tips, pet savings tips, restaurant deals. There’s a classifieds section so you don’t have to bother with ebay fees. There are charitable endeavors you can help with if you wish.

With the holidays coming up, there are entire sections devoted to Black Friday and Cyber Monday with tips, deals and shopping codes frequently available. And of course, there are coupons. And rebates. And a whole host of other reasons to join.

And I’ll still be here to highlight some of the great deals and tips that are available.

What?!? No Election Day freebies?

Election Day 2008 was just filled with freebies. Every restaurant chain was offering something if you voted. Guess times are tough, because I couldn’t find a single one this year. Oh well, go out and vote anyway, even if there’s no free food afterwards. And while you’re at it, please vote again in the Pepsi Challenge.

And Toy Story 3 is available today so look for deals on that, including the deal I posted at CVS.

McCormick Grinder deal

Here’s a decent unadvertised deal:

McCormick Grinders is offering a catalina deal right now. Buy 2 get $1.50 on your next order, buy 3 get $3. It has been running at the national chains and I can confirm it is working at Acme. I bought 3-salt, pepper (the multi-colored peppercorns) and Italian seasoning. I only got $1.50, so not sure which variety is NOT working. I should have gotten $3.

But…at Avondale, there are $1 off 3 tearpads hanging in front of them. Buy 3 for $4.50, use the $1 coupon, so $3.50. Get $3 back, so $0.50 for 3! I am definitely going back for more this week, we use these a lot and they have long expiration dates.

If you don’t shop at Acme or Supervalu, check your stores. I know I saw it on HCW at both Kroger stores and Albertson’s.

Need your help!

Ok, I don’t often use this blog for personal gain. I get very, very little money from advertising (about $1/month, seriously) and other than the occasional referral link, there’s no other gains.

But now I am asking for personal help. You’ll see on the right hand side of the page, I’ve installed a new button. The group IDEAS supports families living with dup15q which is what my son has. I’m on the board and one of the fundraising chairpersons. We just found out this morning that we are in the November Pepsi Refresh contest.

Please help us by voting. We are a small organization and need all the help we can get. You can vote online and by texting. You can also install a Facebook app if you’re on Facebook and vote that way. All the information you need can be found by clicking the button I’ve installed.

Most importantly–you can vote EVERY DAY in November.

Thanks in advance. We now return to your regularly scheduled bargains!
