Huggies Diaper deal stacking at Acme~ends June 14

You know how Acme occasionally does the “buy this product, get $1 back” and so on? And it’s not manufacturer specific, it’s just random items all throughout the store? Well, they’re doing that right now, but it’s not in the ad, not in mine anyway. So yesterday when I was there, I noticed that lots of the various Huggies products were doing that–buy this get $1 and so on. I checked one of the tags closely and it says through June 14. Check your store for specific items.

Here are some ideas to stack that $1 back with. First, the $5/$35 Saving Star offer:

There are also Huggies coupons in the 5/20 inserts, or some printables.

Happy Shopping!

$5/$35 for Huggies!

I’m pretty excited about this Saving Star offer–$5 back when you spend $35 on Huggies products. Load it on to your card, I’m sure it will go quickly. At first glance, I’m intrigued with the coupon that’s in the CVS booklet (is it a store or a mfr coupon?!?!?! I haven’t seen it yet) and whether or not we can combine it with a mfr coupon AND this deal.

This week’s diaper prices, April 10

Pampers coupons in last week’s paper, Huggies printables available on the coupons toolbar on left hand side of page. Of course, home mailers, tearpads and peelies may be found–your mileage may vary.

To try to figure out if you’re getting a good deal, whip out your phone and do the math–what price are you paying per diaper? Try to stay under $0.20 per diaper, anything that is about $0.12 or under, I would stock up and max out on that deal. For wipes, I definitely won’t pay more than $0.02 per wipe, and I try to stay at a penny or less.

Genaurdi’s-big box, both brands, 17.99

Superfresh-advertising horrible prices this week–$2.79 for a 60ct tub of wipes! Jeez SF, that’s over $0.04 a wipe-no thanks!

Walgreen’s-Pampers-two jumbo packs for $18, get $3 RR back. Huggies-big box for $21.99 with $2 RR back

Acme-Huggies or Pullups, big box for $19.99 with $5 catalina back

CVS-no deals listed, assume regular price

Kmart-big boxes of Huggies 19.99; get 3000 extra points (if you do the Shop Your Way Rewards) when you buy $25 worth or more.

Target-extra big boxes, both brands, $29.99; $10 gc back when you buy two boxes

Superfresh: Free Batteries + reasonably priced diapers

Yay, I have a car today. I needed a few items so we went to Superfresh. (and I wanted to hit the Longwood Walgreen’s, more on that in a bit)

First, remember the Rayovac clearanced batteries that I blogged about last week? Well, the bin is still just about full, and they’ve been reduced again. Now they are down below a buck! So, if you have the $1 Rayovac coupons from last week’s inserts, or go to Facebook and like Rayovac to print your $1 coupons. They were about $0.80/package, so you should get the overage. Sometimes I actually wish I didn’t find free batteries as often as I do. I really have no excuse to not change the batteries in the annoying toys that we have. When a toy doesn’t work, my 2-year-old knows exactly where the free battery bin is and will bring it to me.

And diapers. I loaded up my zavers savings on my Superfresh card before I went. You can also print off what you load on to the card and I did. Here are some diaper and wipe deals. Not anywhere close to free, but not too bad.

Huggies-hopefully you have the insert coupons from either 2/27 or 3/20. The big refill pack of wipes is on sale for $5.49 and the tubs are $2.69. I had the coupon for “get a free tub when you buy the refill” from 2/27. I also had $0.50 off of Huggies wipes on my zavers. The coupon specifies that the wipes should be 600 ct or higher? But the CS person and I agreed that may be a typo, as the only place you’d find larger than 300 ct is at one of the warehouse clubs. I got the 284 count refill plus 72 count tub. Paid only $4.99 for both after coupon & zavers. That puts me at a little over a penny per wipe, which is usually the max I will pay. But my free wipes stockpile is dwindling, so I figured I’d get them.

Huggies diapers & pullups-On my zavers, I got a $2 off for both Huggies ANY pack of Pullups or Goodnites, and $2 off ANY pack of Huggies jumbo pack. Both are on sale for $8.99, or $6.99 after zavers. For the diapers though, the 2/27 inserts had a $3.50 off ANY Huggies diaper. So I only paid about $3.50 for the jumbo pack. That’s around $0.13 a diaper, again, over my stockup price which is $0.10/diaper. But my older son needs the larger sizes plus the Goodnites, so I got a pack of each for him. For the Pullups, I had a $2 coupon, also from either the 2/27 inserts or there have been many mailed to my home lately.

Pampers diapers-used the $2 coupon from the 2/27 inserts plus $2 on zavers. These are $9.99 this week, or about $6 per pack after both discounts. Again, not my stock up price, but I’m just glad to find size 6s for that cheap.

Reminder about zavers–each discount is only good for ONE item per transaction. You can reload them, once you go home and go back online. Or, on your smartphone if you have it setup. But no matter how many packs of Pullups you get, it’s only going to take $2 off. Not $2 for each. The zavers website does print out a very user friendly checklist of what you’ve chosen, so take that with you to keep track.

I also checked out the Viva. I have $3 off any 8-pack, and these are my favorite paper towels. The 8-pack is 9.99, then 6.99 with Zavers and minus another $1.70 if you have the $0.85 coupon from last week’s paper. $5.29–I passed. That wasn’t a sale price and those coupons or zavers aren’t going to expire for a while, so I’m holding out for a better deal.
