Paybox-too good to be true?

There’s a website called Paybox that is making all the rounds of the online chat boards, particularly for those of the frugal minded nature. It’s not even really open yet to do business, set to launch this spring. Paybox is planning to be a competitor to Paypal. Even though I use Paypal, I think it is time they get some competition as their fees are extraordinary.

Most of the discussion surrounding Paybox right now is, is this a scam? I don’t know. But, they didn’t ask for any personal information other than my email address. And, that email address has not seen an influx of junk mail since signing up.

But some moms I know have over $2000 in their Paybox account. From doing……nothing. Mine has several hundred dollars in it. And I’ve done nothing. But, I figure I have nothing to lose even though I’m not very hopeful that I will see that money. Click anywhere on here that says Paybox, and you can sign up. Then, send out your referral link and you’ll earn money.

Good luck and here’s to hoping we see at least some of it!

BRM-great deal on a family outing

The Brandywine River Museum has some great things going on right now. Except for their holiday exhibit (mid November thru December) and Antiques show in May, every Sunday morning, admission is FREE! This is from 9:30 am to 12 noon.

On top of that, they are offering a breakfast deal. Adults are $5 and kids are $3.50. You’ll be sitting in front of some floor to ceiling windows and overlooking the Brandywine, what could be more beautiful? And don’t forget about the hiking/walking trails around the museum. This is a budget and family-friendly activity for locals.
