other walgreen’s deals this week

I know I posted the diaper deal earlier in the week, but there are two other deals to mention.

First, Right Guard stuff is bogo, and there was a bogo coupon in last Sunday’s paper. The wags ad even says “coupons in Sunday’s paper” right next to the sale, so you should be able to use it. Free!

Excedrin-it’s buy $20, get $10. The coupons that are out for this are not that great, $1-$2.50, depending on which paper you got:
$2.50/1 Excedrin PM product, 20 ct or larger – 12-05-10 SS if included
$1/1 Excedrin product, 20 ct or larger – 12-05-10 SS
75c/1 Excedrin Product, any 20 ct or larger – 02-27-11 SS
$1.50/1 Excedrin Product, any 80 ct or larger – 02-27-11 SS

But……….several items of Excedrin are ringing up buy one, get one 50% off, and others are ringing up at clearance prices (which will work on a Walgreen’s deal). And supposedly the higher price, not the 50% off, will count towards your $20 threshold.

This is a good deal if you still have the home mailer FREE coupons that were mailed out. (I posted the link, make sure you sign up for this stuff!)

But, it still does make for some cheap Excedrin, and it looks like there will be some decent opportunities to roll the Register Rewards next week.

Special Needs/Autism Days at Sesame Place-FREE!

The details and registration are now available. We’ve gone to this several times and love it! So much so that I saved up survey money to buy us season passes this year. This is only open to families that are in the Variety Club’s service area–mostly the metropolitan Philadelphia area.

DETAILS

some printable links, some not posted, some help at CVS

I got a bunch of email with printables in it, so thought I’d share. These won’t necessarily be on the public or manufacturers’ public sites.

$1 off Kellogg’s new Mini Wheats, varieties–may want to check out the 50% off Kellogg’s sale at Superfresh, starts Friday

$20 off four or more people at an AMF bowling lane (affiliate link)

FREE chips & queso at Chili’s (affiliate link)

$0.75 off ANY Johnson & Johnson baby product (def going to look for cheap items under $2 at Acme or Superfresh; this should double to $1.50 at those stores)

$1 off one Scott; I think this is on sale at Walgreen’s next week

And in case you want to go to Kmart for the SCJohnson deal which includes Glade:
Glade Scented Oil Lasting impressions, $3
Glade Scented Oil candle products, $1.50
$1 Glade plugins
$1 Glade 4 oz candles
$0.75 Glade room spray, should double to $1.50, and I have $1 off this on my zavers for Superfresh

These printables will help with CVS deals:
Tena, this week, gets you a $2.50 gain on ECBs (thanks hcw!)
Allegra, next week, gets you a $2 gain on ECBs (thanks Simply CVS)
Theraflu, this week, if your store has it (good luck!) it will get you a $0.99 gain on your ECBs; ask cashier to adjust it down to $0.99, which is what the Theraflu is this week.

Superfresh Ad, March 18-24, highlights & matchups

A very boring week at Superfresh! I’m starting to wonder if they’re not just going to stick to this “lower price project” thing and not do catalinas & instant savings anymore. That would be a bummer!

First-“Get $5 off your next grocery purchase wyb two $50 Visa gift cards.” *if* there is no activation fee, I would go to the cs desk, get them. Get your $5 catalina & then go spend your $100 on groceries & gas. But quite often they have $3-$5 activation fees, so check first!

Front page-
Kellogg’s-50% off cereal, 3/13 inserts, 2/6 inserts, 3/6 inserts
Pepsi 2L-4 for $4, must buy 4
Bumble Bee- 5 for $4, must buy 5, look for tearpads
San Giorgio pasta- $0.75
Barilla sauce-$1.50
AC mozz or ricc-1.89
Keebler-3 for 5; will be good if the cookies that had the $0.55 coupon last week are included, only $0.57 with that coupon!
93% beef-bogo
pork sirloin chops-1.79
AC whole chickens-0.89 lb
asparagus-1.99
avocado or brocc-0.99
french bread-1.99

$10/75 frozen food deal still going on-check your zavers.

Post/GM cereals- 2 for 5, mix & match
Lots of coupons, plus check your zavers, I got lots of GM stuff on mine.

Huggies-8.99; I got $2 on zavers, and have $2 coupons! 4.99!
Huggies wipes-I got $0.50 on zavers, and I have $1coupons, $1.19 a tub after that

All in all, a pretty boring ad. If you need baby stuff, definitely check the zavers against your coupon binder. I think that if you bought one of each item on zavers, then did zavers + coupon, you’d hit $50 for sure, pay less than that, and get $5 back.
