Get FREE stuff with word-of-mouth marketing & some survey links

Word of mouth and social media marketing is all the rage right now. And hey, why not use it to your advantage to get free stuff? Here’s how it usually works–you sign on with a company. They periodically send you free items to try. You then (hopefully) like the items, continue to purchase them as well as tell your friends about them. It doesn’t take a lot of time. Usually you get the item and then one follow up email with a survey. Here are some word of mouth marketing companies you may be interested in:

Bzzagent– I’ve been doing this for several years and like it.

Pssst– General Mills products only,  but good freebies

Kraft First Taste– Kraft items only

Sample Showcase– I don’t do this one, but supposedly it’s good.

Synovate– I’ve done lots of baby wipes, diapers and lotion for them. Plus they pay cash too, in addition to the free items.

Nielsen– this is supposed to be a very good one, and they mail you actual cash in the mail, at random. I haven’t signed up yet.

Valued Opinions– I do this one all the time. I make about $20-$25 a month.

Vocalpoint– I signed up for this more than once, I think that if you are not active on their website, they drop you. I just don’t have the time, but for those that do, they supposedly give out lots of cool stuff.

A few good deals at Staples this week

Did you know that Staples accepts manufacturers’ coupons? They do! And, you can stack them with other offers at Staples including sales, store coupons and rebates. I always check their ad online if I’m going to Superfresh, since it’s right next door.

This week, they have the 20-packs of Duracell batteries on sale for $12.99. Which isn’t that great of a price, actually, imo. But, you are able to get $12.99 back in Staples rewards. Limit two per customer. Use a $1 coupon from the 2/27 inserts or home mailers, pay only $11.99 and get the $12.99 back in rewards.

Staple rewards are only good in store, it’s not like getting a cash rebate back. But, I use it for ink/toner. There also are good deals on HP photo paper (only $1 after Staples Rewards), Hammermill CopyPlus paper (only $1 after Staples Rewards) and the colored paper.

If you’re going, collect up as many dead toner cartridges as you can find. You’ll get $2 for each one. Limit is 10 per customer, per month. That is the only thing I miss about working in a school-all the toner cartridges people used to give me to recycle!

That was easy!

Just two days left for the printable coupons

After 3/31, the assortment of coupons on coupons dot com will change. I’m not entirely sure which ones will be returning, the affiliate manager doesn’t usually let us know until the last minute.

If you’ve been wanting to print the good ones–the $2 & $3 off Huggies, $3 off Pedigree, all the good Scrubbing Bubbles coupons, 8th continent and more, print them now! They may be gone on Friday.

Bravo Pizza-$5 coupon for Avondale/Glen Mills

Bravo Pizza is our favorite local pizza. They have locations in Avondale and Glen Mills. If you text “bravo” to 686868, you’ll get a $5 off any $10 purchase coupons. Can’t beat half-price pizza! They also occasionally have coupons on their website and they are frequently included in ValPak and other home mailer type coupon packs. What?!?! You throw those envelopes out? No! It just takes 15 seconds to flip through them and there often are good local restaurant deals included in them.
