Who is ready for the weekend? Me! Me! Of course my husband has class all day Saturday, so it will feel like a weekday to us. But Sunday is our annual family pumpkin patch day plus in the evening I have an outing planned with friends. I once read that October 4 and 5 are among the most popular birthdays in this country. Know why? Count backwards and guess where you land? New Year’s Eve. There’s a bit of trivia you didn’t need, huh? But I bet if you look at your Facebook profile today and tomorrow, you have a few friends with birthdays. And now you know why, sorry for burning an unfortunate image in your brain, if that’s what I did.

Happy weekend! I really apologize for not being around and posting much, I promise I am working hard to get back into it. It’s been a very busy week. Monday we spent the day in Harrisburg lobbying for special education, on Wednesday I helped chaperone a field trip and I had to work much of today. Hate when work gets in the way of blogging and couponing, huh? But it does. Hopefully things will slow down in my world and I can get back to finding and doing deals. In the mean time, check out these cool giveaways. Bookmark it and check it all weekend long, as new stuff gets added all the time.
