Looking at both ads, overall it looks like SF has the better prices for what I need for my weekly trip. Neither SF nor Acme has any must-do deals or freebies, and I just need weekly perishables. The only problem is that I have three milk catalinas and another $7-$8 for Acme, not sure if I can use them at SF. Like Acme, there aren’t a whole lot of coupon matchups for the stuff that interests me.
Post cereals-1.79, no minimum or limit listed.
Their Coke products are 4 for $9.99, a few bucks cheaper than at Acme.
Lay’s stuff-3 for 6, coupons from 3/13–hopefully you got the $0.55 one that will double.
Butter-1.99, cheaper than Acme. No limit listed, so at this price, I’ll probably get 3-5 of them and freeze it. Butter is getting super expensive and I don’t like to cook with margarine. Even better, if you buy three Pillsbury refrig items, at 3 for $5, you get the butter for $0.99. The database is showing lots of coupons for these items, dating back to 2/13, 2/27 and 3/13.
Polly-O mozz & ricotta-1lb for $1.89! Awesome price. Blinkies listed in database, so keep an eye out. Would be awesome if you found the $1 off ones.
Barilla pasta is $0.88 and that’s one of our favorite brands. I was introduced to it many moons ago when I lived in Italy, and soon it came here.
Philly Cream Cheese-0.99, same as Acme. Freezes ok to use in recipes, but not to eat regular.
Maxwell house-2 for 5
Dannon is 10 for 6, $1 coupons from 4/10.
J&J baby deal-spend $10, get $3 back. Should work off of shelf prices. Printables. Printable. Printable. And if memory serves, I did this deal last summer, and the shelf price is $5.49 or something. Buy two to hit $10 spending threshold, sale price will be $6. Use two of the $0.75 or $1 links I gave you, and you’ll pay $3-$4, get $3 back.
