I love sign language. My 4-year-old is special needs and non-verbal, and I am so glad he is at least able to communicate with us via signs! And our now 2-year-old, he picked up on the signs at a very young age. He was never taught them, just picked it up from watching us with his brother. But oh how I wish we had taken a class, trying to figure out what the signs are from just pictures is hard. And then, my son modifies them, and every one of his teachers/therapists add their own twist–I bet it gets confusing for the little guy.
