This offer popped up in my Amazon Mom email this morning, and I felt it was definitely worthy of it’s own post. A few years ago, my son’s PT and OT recommended a Tripp Trapp for him–though they are NOT just for kids with special needs. My 2 year old loves it too. We got the generic knockoff and regretted it. They are a bit spendy, but now they are on sale at Amazon. And, keep in mind, despite the price–this is a lifelong chair. You can get a baby insert for it, and even adults can sit in them. Actually, when I have my laptop on the kitchen table, like right now, I am sitting in it. It helps stabilize low tone kids by having a foot rest. I like the foot rest because my back feels better. They grow with your child.
They very rarely go under $200, so this is a good price. Most of the time, they are $250-$300 and they don’t go on sale often. You’ll probably use it forever, but if you don’t, they really retain their resale value.
Every year I get my husband a page-a-day calendar for his desk at work. I usually have to pay full price because they never go on sale before Christmas. I used to get him the Far Side, then Dilbert, then Simpson trivia. Not sure what I’ll pick this year, but here’s a sale at Calendars.com.
For this weekend, their sale is 10-60% off the entire site, plus free shipping on everything.
Red Envelope has 15% off entire orders through Monday, including this very cute Night Before Christmas activity kit. When you click that link, you’ll get to their page and look for a light blue bar across the top that says “extra 15% off to be applied at checkout.” I passed on this gift last year and regretted it, because it was cheaper. Not going to miss out this time! It’s 29.95 minus the 15%. The photo is from my archives, from last year.
