New online thing for Moms–in beta testing to check out
I kinda like when programs are still in beta testing mode, because presumably you can give feedback on how it works for you. This is only available through bloggers at the moment.
From their site: ChoozOn brings you deals and offers matched to your current interests, featuring your favorite brands, loyalty programs, deals-of-the-day, private (flash) sales, and the products you may be searching for. Think of us as your personal shopper for deals. Range of deals. We’re working with more than 1500 major national brands, local daily deal services, coupon sites, flash sales, and loyalty programs.
Our Mission – Help busy Moms to get the most value, for the least possible effort, from the brands they love. ChoozOn has just released a beta-test version of its new service, which is open for customers to try out and provide feedback. We would like to give the Web’s savviest, deal-conscious bloggers a private preview of our site, and a chance to share their thoughts about this convenient deal-hunting service with their readerships, before the wider public hears about ChoozOn.

MoonPig-Not an Ordinary Greeting Card
Did you miss someone on your Holiday card list? Did you decide not to send a ton of cards this year? Coudn’t find THE card, you know, the perfect personal meaning card, for that certain person on your list?
Check out Moonpig for a huge selection of about any card you could possibly need or want. They have something for any occasion, and every mood. Trust me, check them out. You will probably get a good giggle out of a few. I know I did. Even better was finding that perfect card. The one that I know the person it is meant for will “get” while everyone else goes “huh”?
I love their Christmas cards. Yes, I admit it, the humorous ones were the best. No, of course I am not giving you the scoop. Go check them out yourself. I also love that you can make a photo card without having to order 10, 20, or 50. I don’t always have time to send a bunch of Christmas cards but want to send special ones to a few people. This is the perfect solution. Even better, I can send a Hanukkah card to my Jewish friends and Christmas cards to friends that celebrate Christmas. I’m not stuck with “one size fits all”. Plus don’t forget you can order a New Year’s card now.
They have such a huge selection for every occasion. I didn’t have time for them all but the other section that caught me was the baby cards. I hate shopping for “Welcome baby” cards in the store. I can never find just the right one. Moonpig has some really cool ones. Cards you can personalize with the baby’s name and birth date or a picture. I love that because it gives the new mom and dad something special to keep rather than trying to figure out if it’s alright to throw away the card or not about 2 years down the road.
The prices are very reasonable, on par with the greeting cards I have seen in many card stores, and the greatest part about them is you can have them ship it direct. Really, does it get any easier than that? No worries about messing up the envelope with a typo or crooked handwriting. (I am sure I am not the only one who stinks at addressing cards neatly.) I also like that I can pre-order cards and schedule when I want them to be shipped. I always am forgetting those occasions and running out the morning of to get birthday cards, anniversary cards etc. for those people you just cannot skip. This option looks very appealing to me. I am seeing myself going on in January and ordering cards for the year’s important events and then the peace of knowing I don’t have to worry about it, while knowing I ordered something “just for the occasion”.
Forget the crowds at the mall, shop Moonpig this season. Better yet, forget the frustration of hauling kids to the store and trying to choose a card while they get restless and start grabbing at cards. Nope, never been there in my life! (Browsing the website was so much easier!)
