The other day I had some returns to do at JCPenney, so I ran down to Prices Corner. While I was down there, I popped in to QVC to poke around. My trip was unsuccessful, if only because I had a 2-year-old in tow that kept saying “I don’t want to see this.” And, I’ll be honest–their customer service was lacking. I saw a sign that said “50% off all Dooney & Bourke” but they keep them behind the jewelry counter. I waited, and there were two clerks chatting, but neither ever offered any assistance (no, there were no other customers around).  I would have liked to have inspected closer, but oh well. Remember that the bags come in to the outlets already marked down 10-25% off, then there is an additional 50% off. So whatever the discount ends up to be, it will be substantial.

And the outlet stores will ship if you ask them to! Look at the QVC website, find some of the styles you’re looking for and grab the number that starts with “A.” Call the store, see if they have it and if they will ship it. Or visit a store of course, but there are only 4 or 5 of them.
