I got People Style Watch the last time they ran a promo, and honestly, I like it. The magazine actually has some affordable fashion suggestions–it’s not all outrageously priced stuff that only celebrities can afford. I have found “looks” that I’ve been able to mimic.
I am such a magazine junkie! I love love love all magazines, even the trashy celebrity gossip ones, and I don’t even know who half of the “celebrities” are. Now is a great time to get some as there are typically deals around the holidays. A gift magazine subscription is a great idea, and these are some cheap, great deals on discounted magazines. Also, when I have a few magazine subscriptions, like I do every year, it curbs the impulse purchasing at the supermarket. I’m never tempted to spend $5 or $6 on a magazine because I have a stack to catch up on at home. I like to purchase the discounted magazine subscription as a gift, then I purchase the latest issue at the store and give that with a card.
