Cheap Duracell batteries

With two little boys, I can never have enough batteries. I remember before K was born, my battery stockpile was huge–now I struggle to maintain it. Amazon has this Duracell Coppertop Batteries AA and AAA 20-pack on sale right now for $9.47. Clip the $.75 coupon in the middle of the page (I had to scroll down lower than usual to find it) and check out through Subscribe & Save to get them for only $7.72 shipped. If you are an Amazon Prime member, you will also receive a $5 Amazon credit code by email within the next 7 days. That would make your order only $2.72. You can also get the Duracell Value Charger with 4 AAA Rechargeable Nimh Batteries for only $9.49 after $1.50 coupon in the middle of the page! This should also qualify for the $5 credit, making it only $4.49. I have a battery charger and some rechargable batteries, we just don’t use it often. It works well though.

Prices at Amazon can change quickly, so don’t wait too long if you want this deal. Now, if I could just get the boys to turn off their toys and now wear out the batteries so quickly–especially all of their Hess trucks–the headlights are always on!

Thanks Couponing for 4!

HP 32GB tablet

Nice HP tablet for $295.

Several weeks ago, I did a few posts on tablets. It’s been my experience, and it’s my recommendation that you do not go super cheap if you’re getting one. The ones that are under $100 are junk. 7″ is too small imo, and I don’t want to be bothered with sd cards. You don’t have to get a $600 or $700 ipad2, there are plenty of decent ones in the $200-$400 range.

Here is a nice 32GB HP tablet for $295.

Amazon diaper deals–incl bigger sizes.

I had a reader contact me recently about the trouble she’s having finding deals on larger size diapers, and said she was paying about $0.50 per diaper. Ouch–that adds up quickly! I looked around a bit, and I can get them down to about $0.35 each. Certainly not great, but better!

First, get the big box of Size 7 Pampers at about $43.xx. Sign up for Subscribe & Save and save 15%. You can unsubscribe any time after it ships. Also, while you’re on the Amazon site, do a search for “diaper coupons” and your coupon book will show up. It’s kinda hard to see–it’ll be near the middle/top of page and it’s a button that says “coupon book” after you do the search for it. Click it and you will get a few dozen coupons, including a $1.50 Pampers coupon. Apply it to your order and after all is said and done–about $0.35 per diaper shipped.

If you really like the new Huggies slip on diapers, there is a $3 coupon for those on Amazon to. They come to about $0.20-$0.25 per diaper, but if you like them, that’s a good deal.
