The semi-annual clearance sale at New Balance started today. I do not know if the prices are valid in stores too. If you shop online, don’t forget to use ebates and get 2.5% back. I love New Balance, even though there is snow on the ground, I think I may get a new pair of sandals at half off.

I probably won’t be online much over the next week or so, spending time with family & friends. If I see any “must do, must share” deals, I’ll post them.

As we plow (some of you literally!) through the holiday season, I’m taking inventory of what holiday items I need, so that I can shop the week of the 26th. I need some paper products and cards, will get wrapping paper if it’s super cheap. I’m always on the lookout for small generic gifts to give to teachers and therapists and now is a great time to score some.

Consumer Reports also publishes a calendar of when they think you should shop for things. According to their research, this is when things are the cheapest.  Great tool as you do your financial planning for 2011!
