Whatcha doin’ this weekend?

I’m staying in and getting things done around the house. There are awesome clearance sales and deals to be found just about everywhere…I’ll post them as I hear them, as I have been doing. But for those of us who don’t really need anything and trying to refrain from spending money–

I’m cleaning out my closet and the boys’ closet. Getting things ready for consignment or yard sale this summer.

Cleaning out and reorganizing the food stockpile. I heard that there is a food drive on Monday at Kennett High School. Locals, you may want to check it out if you have stuff to unload. Since MLK day has turned into a day of service in many areas, check your local paper or websites, there might be food drives near you too.

I’m also going to list some of my nicer handbags & things like that, on ebay. Can’t hurt to bring in some extra cash.

It’s here–a new $3 Glad link

Print it now if you want it.

Paybox-too good to be true?

There’s a website called Paybox that is making all the rounds of the online chat boards, particularly for those of the frugal minded nature. It’s not even really open yet to do business, set to launch this spring. Paybox is planning to be a competitor to Paypal. Even though I use Paypal, I think it is time they get some competition as their fees are extraordinary.

Most of the discussion surrounding Paybox right now is, is this a scam? I don’t know. But, they didn’t ask for any personal information other than my email address. And, that email address has not seen an influx of junk mail since signing up.

But some moms I know have over $2000 in their Paybox account. From doing……nothing. Mine has several hundred dollars in it. And I’ve done nothing. But, I figure I have nothing to lose even though I’m not very hopeful that I will see that money. Click anywhere on here that says Paybox, and you can sign up. Then, send out your referral link and you’ll earn money.

Good luck and here’s to hoping we see at least some of it!

Everything But the Kitchen Sink

Not just a phrase, but a store in Hockessin. I’ve found lots of cute things in this store. They are having a big sale, 30% off everything, starts Monday. I don’t know what is excluded, if anything. Support your local merchants!
