Any Winn Dixie Shoppers?

If so, then you want to check out the Groupon deal today, for Orlando. My friend pinksink over at hcw alerted me to this deal. If you use the Groupon affiliate button over there —> and then find today’s deal for Orlando. It is:

For $12:
four (4) $5 off a $30 purchase at Winn Dixie
four (4) $5 off a $25 purchase at Catherine’s
Free oil change at Firestone

Check the fine print, make sure that your Winn Dixie will take them. This is also good for shoppers who maybe don’t shop at Winn Dixie, but you have them nearby and your grocery store takes competitors’ coupons.

From the Groupon site:

“Pages upon pages of “half-off” and “buy-one-get-one” discounts fill Orlando’s Enjoy the City book, a cost castle securing discounts at dozens of diverse businesses. The markdown manual includes oil changes at Firestone, $20 savings at Winn Dixie, and numerous rollbacks at popular nosh spots, including Melting Pot, Shogun, Medieval Times, and Great American Cookie Company. With one use at the golf course, bowling center, or rental car agency, this discount diary pays for itself, giving its users more money to launch neighborhood NASA projects or to invest in start-up wishing wells.”

Pet Dental Health Month

February is Pet Dental Health Month. This will be the first February in a long time that I’m not paying for a dentistry for one of my dogs. Every February, my vet runs specials on these. I just got my mailer about it today. The usual cost of $338 is reduced to $249 if you schedule it for February. This includes exam, cleaning, anesthesia, antibiotics, fluoride/polishing and IV fluids. I’m always game to save almost $100, so I would schedule one of my dogs every February. That way, they’d both get done every-other-year, and I’d still get the deal. Sadly, Macy passed away a while back, and Mell-O-D had hers done last year, so she doesn’t need it this year. And the puppies are too young to need it just yet.

Call your vet and see if they are doing a special for the month.
