Last night, I ran out to Walmart and got a Leapster. They also had advertised the Leap Pad for $99, and while I was in the aisle, they were dozens of parents that came looking for it. They had a stupid sign up, saying they had supply issues and weren’t offering it.

I found it at Kmart for $99.99, as part of their 15 hottest toys promo. FREE shipping, plus there are two codes for $10 off $100 or $20 off $200. And you can shop in your jammies!

That link will activate the offers in your account. If it doesn’t work for some reason, use K10OFF100TOYS11 or K20OFF200TOYS11 or JOLLYKM for $5 off $45. These links will take you to free shipping.

This is what dragged me out to Walmart late last night. This is $24.99 at Toys R Us, so I had Walmart price match. I could have just stayed home and ordered it online. Free shipping with orders over $50.

Walmart Baby Steps

I told you all about a conference I went to in October. One of the bloggers there brought her very new baby, and I was very surprised to find myself getting a case of baby fever. I know! But before any of my friends & family get any ideas, I can tell you………forget it! Not gonna happen. It’s fun to cuddle newborn babies, and that newborn smell…….but forget it! I just can’t wait until the day when I don’t have to change diapers anymore. I.Am.Done.

When I was pregnant, though, I registered at Walmart. Baby registries are fun, aren’t they? Walmart has a new program on their site called Baby Steps. Baby Steps covers it all from tips on how to change a squirmy baby, to how best to introduce solid foods. Find the answers you need in the form of quick and entertaining videos.

Topics include:

Changing Solutions:

• Baby Potty Basics
• When to Call the Doc
• Changing a Diaper
• Diaper Challenges
• Diaper Essentials
• Potty Training

Feeding Solutions:

• Good Nutrition
• Formula Feeding
• Bottle Basics
• Solid Food

What a great resource! And I can still use it–I’ll be watching the “What to do when potty training isn’t working” video. Sigh. Which brings me back to my original thought–no more babies.
