Hate your kitchen? Get a FREE design and cost estimate

Hate your kitchen? (I’m raising my hand.) My husband has been remodeling ours for ages……..at least 3-4 years so far. I wish it was done. At this point, I’m almost (note I said almost) willing to just pay for the labor to get it done, rather than have him do it. Sigh. Anyway. If you have been wondering, “how much will a new kitchen cost?” here is your chance to find out. I’ve seen estimates for $2000-$3000 and as high as $100,000. Get a real estimate from Sears. It’s free with no obligation.

after holiday clearance~not just Easter stuff!

Starting today, stores all over the place will be marking down their Easter holiday merchandise. If your household is like mine, just one look at a peanut butter egg  is enough to make you gag. But don’t write off not taking advantage of the great deals. After all, not everything that is sold has a picture of a bunny or a cross on it, some of it is very generic-themed and will have many alternative uses.

Think of all the stuff that just has pictures of animals on it, or flowers, or bugs or other “spring” items. Some uses you may find for the after Easter clearance stuff:

1. dig up recipes for leftover candy

2. birthday party favors

3. Mothers’ Day crafts and gifts

4. Earth Day crafts

5. Wedding shower favors

6. purchase and pack away stuff for next year

7. If the clearanced Easter basket isn’t really a basket, like the ones that are buckets–they have many alternative uses.

Good luck and happy shopping! Let us know about your great finds.

Green Works and the “Reverse Graffiti” Project

Several weeks ago, I did a sponsored review post for Green Works products. I was given several Green Works products to try and I loved them and reviewed them. In fact, my bottle of multi-purpose spray cleaner is just about empty and I need to get more. Luckily they have a $1 printable coupon on their Facebook page. Or, get a $1 off 2 coupon here.
