Superfresh ad, Jan 14-20

A few matchups:

Eggs: $1 a dozen, use the $0.55 printable I posted the other day in printable roundup, and you’ll pay $0.90 for 2 dozen!

Progresso soup: $1, use the $1/4 coupon that is out, pay $0.75/can.  I like these as a change for to take for lunch sometimes.

Herr’s tortilla chips: $2, lowest price I’ve seen in a while

Ocean Spray: grapefruit deal on again this year–Buy 2 juices for $2 each, get a free bag of grapefruit too, good deal!

Special K: $3 each, free milk when you buy 3 items. Coupons for Special K came out around the holidays.

Starbucks: 6.99/bag, $1.50 coupons expire 1/31, they’re pretty old, not sure what insert.

Perdue: ready to eat stuff is 30% off, were coupons last week I think

Dawn: $1, use the $0.20 coupon (doubles) to make it $0.60

Don’t forget to load your zavers card first.

Acme ad, Jan 14-20

I got my ads today. I don’t have time to do a whole bunch of matchups, but it’s a start. And I’ll post this entry on hcw when I’m done and I’m sure some will add to it, if it’s not already there. Here’s what stands out to me:

Kellogg’s/Keebler deal: lots of the usual items listed, then “save $6 instantly when you buy 6 items in a single transaction.” I’m assuming that this means that the sale price listed of $2.50 per item will then drop to $1.50 per item, minus any coupons on top of that. I haven’t checked the insert previews for this weekend, but hopefully some will come along to accompany this deal. I really need Nutri Grain bars! And if we get some good $0.75 coupons like Cinnabon stuff, free!

Campbells soup: $0.39, and I’m pretty sure there are $1/3 coupons out right now. Or better.

Colgate; $1, I’m positive there are coupons out right now to make this free.

Acme bacon: bogo at 6.99, combine two packs of bacon with another $3 item, use the $2 off $10 coupon in Acme booklets near front of store.

Green Giant veggies: $1, use the $0.60/3, yours will be $0.60/box.

Tabasco: $1, there are usually $0.50 coupons out for this=free. We like the green one.

GM cereals: on sale 2 for $5, free box of Nature Valley granola bars when you buy 2 boxes of cereal. You may still be able to stack a Nature Valley coupon, plus whatever GM cereal coupons apply for big savings. We haven’t had Honey Nut Cheerios in a while, so I’ll get some as they are included.

L’oreal: catalina deal, $5 back when you spend $20. Remember–shelf/knockdown price is used to get to spending threshold, then pay sale price minus any coupons. Lots of L’oreal coupons out there right now.

Meat & Potatoes: back page lists several types of roasts on sale, then has a coupon for free items when you buy said roast. Don’t forget the $1 Lancaster brand coupon in Acme booklet (Front of store) or check the Hatfield website.

Can sale: lots of canned goods at good prices, if you need them, on back page. I know there are lots of corresponding coupons-chef boyardee, hunts, college inn broth, etc.

Wisk: front page, 7.99. Aren’t there $3 coupons out for this?

At a quick glance, that’s all I see. I just did this in 14 minutes!

printables summary

It’s still near the beginning of the month, so most printable coupon sites have not met their print limits yet. Keep in mind that most do have print limits, so if you want printables, do it early in the month.

Some highlights:

coupons.com:
~~Lots of General Mills coupons if you didn’t get the inserts
~~$1 off Listerine, which is 50% off this week at CVS
~~$1 and $2 Reach coupons which should mean free toothbrushes and floss at some point
~~$0.75 Crisco spray, will double at many stores
~~$2 on Pedigree Good Bites–higher value coupons always catch my eye!
~~$1 off one Welch’s-you all know I have little ones, always need cheap juice
~~BOGO Greenies-lots of stores let you use a bogo coupon with a bogo sale, now we just need to find one to match!
~~$5 off any one Nature Made, these are bogo right now at Acme, and you can use two coupons.
~~35% off Entertainment Book offer; (note to self: ask Heidi for another copy of her guide to this)

What’s also interesting about coupons.com is that when you scroll through the coupons, you may not actually see them all. Click on the different categories of coupons and more appear.

redplum.com:

Kind of a dud right now. The $1 Quaker oatmeal has already reached print limit. Several Sally Hansen coupons and that is on sale everywhere right now–CVS, Rite Aid, etc.

allyou.com:

Many of the same General Mills coupons as coupons.com. And a lot of their coupons/cookies crossover, so if you printed your limit of 2 on coupons.com, cannot print them here. Always worth a quick look though.
~~Buy 2 Get 1 Hefty zoo pals, we use lots of paper plates in summer, with kids eating outside.
~~$1 off 2 Muir Glen, and their organic canned tomatoes will often go on sale at Acme, 3 for $2.

smartsource.com:
~~lots of Aveeno and J&J coupons, on sale now at CVS and other places
~~$2 off of Listerine Whitening, hope this is included in the CVS 50% off sale
~~$1 off Over the Moon milk
~~$0.55/2 dozen eggs, egg coupons are not common

All the sites also have some online offers like Vistaprint, I’ve blogged about them before.

Aveeno coupons & offers

Lots of Aveeno deals this week, and HERE is a link to some Aveeno printables that just came in my email. If it doesn’t show up, you may have to register on the site. Take note, the last coupon down on the right. Not a coupon but a mail in offer.

Acme: Aveeno is 15% off retail price this week
CVS: Buy one, get one 50% off, can you a coupon on both items.
Rite Aid: on sale, I think 20% off retail price?
