Coupon Class-Kennett Square

For those of you not on Facebook, you might be interested in this. I am hosting a *free* coupon class at the Bayard Taylor Library in Kennett Square. You can either register to attend by clicking ‘attend’ on the event I created on Facebook, or click that link I provided and you’ll see the information.

If you can’t make it to that one, no worries. I am working with the folks at the Avon Grove Library in West Grove too, we just haven’t picked a date yet.

The class is scheduled to be an hour, but I am happy to stay longer & answer questions. Right now I have it planned out as follows-
First twenty minutes or so-going over coupon basics, understanding a bit of coupon bar codes, coupon resources-where to find them and get multiples if you want them
Last forty minutes-Using store policies and promos to maximize your savings. Specifically, we will go over the policies of Acme, Giant, Superfresh and Genuardi’s. Doubling policies, store coupon vs. mfr coupon, catalina deals, e-savings–all that will be discussed.

Hope to see you there!

Acme: other cheaps & deals I found today, 2/14/11

I have to make it a point to go to Acme on Mondays, that is when the meat is marked down. Because combining the $2 and $3 coupons from almost expired meat, with the Hatfield printables, the $1 Lancaster Brand coupons, the Perdue coupons….I’m getting lots of really cheap meat lately.

The Nabisco/Milk tearpads are still alive and well, and getting better. The coupons says “Save $1 on ANY Nabisco cookie, 4 oz+ wyb a gallon of milk.” I buy five gallons of milk every week! And the 4 oz size of Nutter Butters, Chips Ahoy and Oreos are all $1.09 this week. So just $0.09 after coupon. I wish the Teddy Grahams were included, but they’re not. But a few small containers of cookies is a nice treat to have on hand for my boys.

The French’s Worcestshire is $1.79, regular price. Use the $0.75 off one coupon from 12/12 inserts, only $0.29! Make sure you look for the bonus sizes-either 25% or 50% more, an even better deal.

The Frank’s appears to be $1 regular price, so that $1 off two coupon makes it two for $1.

Unfortunately the $1 Tabasco price was just a promo price and it has ended.

Avondale Acme-in the back, they have many grilling utensils and tools on clearance, some at 75% off or more. With today’s weather, who isn’t in the mood for grilling?!? I know I am, and I’m just getting ready to prepare our discounted filet mignon for our V-Day dinner.

I am just loving Acme lately, finding good cheaps and frees, and my weekly bill is less.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

eggs-$0.44/dozen!

Go here and print the $0.55 off eggs coupon. Eggs will be $0.99/dozen starting Friday at Acme. After coupon doubling, just $0.88 for two dozen!

Glad I forgot to get them today.

While you’re there printing other coupons you need, get the $0.50 Texas Toast one. Acme frequently has that for $1, so free! And the $1 Kikkoman, with it being the Chinese New Year, I bet they’ll have lots of things on sale for $1.
