Wait….about this baby deal at Acme…..

I just found the ad for the 5/25 Acme baby deal at the bottom of my purse. The buy $25 get $5 is running until 2/14. I have another catalina detailing the Gerber deal which runs until 2/1. The Gerber deal is:
Spend 10, get 2
Spend 15, get 3
Spend 20, get 4

OYNO

So, if you already have some $5 baby catalinas, combined with the Gerber coupons, I don’t see any reason why we shouldn’t be able to double dip on this deal. Spend $25, get your total down as far as you can with coupons and catalinas. Also, Gerber Graduates is almost always on my Avenu. Then hopefully I would get $5 back for $25 worth of baby, and $4 back is at least $20 worth of my $25 is Gerber. $9 back on $25 isn’t a bad return on this type of stuff, imo, which rarely has good deals.

Hmmmm, I’m going to try this this weekend when I do my usual trip.

You know what’s funny? And Gerber deal

I’m out of Bisquick! After Acme just spent a week giving it away, I have none. I had the coupons, I knew the deal (P&G/GM 15/30 deal) but I didn’t get any because I was certain I had a bunch. I don’t. I have about one cup left.

I make that mistake sometimes–I either buy waaaayyyyy too much of something, thinking I need it. Or then I convince myself that I am currently overstocked in that item, and I run out.

Gerber Graduates is on my Av enu right now. I have coupons for this as well. My plan is to spend $10, use coupons and Avenu to get my total down to about $5, then use my $5 baby cat, and still get $2 back as part of the Gerber deal. If I can get past Firefox that is. Firefox doesn’t want me printing the Gerber coupons, we just switched over.

I also have tons of South Beach stuff on there too, if anyone is interested. And P&G stuff, but who needs Bounty now? Not me!

Off to work, happy shopping!

Found great deals at Acme!!!! Run!

The Pampers baby wipes are still on sale and still rolling! The baby wipes deal is still alive and well!!!!! Go Go Go if you need them!

I went to the Pike Creek Acme this morning because it’s near my vet and I had to pick up meds. The special 15/30 tags are still hanging in front of the big packs of Pampers wipes. I couldn’t believe my eyes! I checked the dates–it says the deal is running til the 15th. Yipppeeee! I had $1.50 off a pack of Pampers wipes on my Avenu, too good to be true??

Nope. Got 4 packs, shelf price of 7.99, sale price of 5.00 and my Avenu took another $1.50 off each pack. And out came three $5 cats and the $5 baby cat. If it shows up on your Avenu it’s a $1 moneymaker. Only a buck, but hey I’ll take a buck to walk away with 800+ baby wipes. ETA: I was very careful to choose only the varieties of wipes that have the deal tag hanging in front of them. That way if it didn’t work, I was going to go to CS.

I did this deal twice and it worked twice. Unfortunately the $1.50 Avenu savings did not appear the second time, I’m not sure why. It says Limit 6. I had already purchased 4 so I was expecting another $3 to be taken off. It’s still a break even deal without Avenu.

Also, in front of the Ocean Spray juices there’s a tearpad for the free grapefruit wyb 2 Ocean Spray juices. Grab a few–first, the exp date is 2/28, so you’re extending the deal beyond what Acme is offering. Second, it’s good for ANY Ocean Spray juice, you aren’t limited to only buying Ruby Red.

Eggos: $3.59, they took 2 coupons on each bogo deal. Six boxes of Eggos for less than $2!

Lastly, I did, gulp, get 4 more boxes of cereal. I had four of the $0.75 IPs for Kix. They doubled to $1.50. So 4 boxes for $10, minus $6 in coupons=$4, and you get a $4.50 coupon back for milk. Since I know the milk coupon scans at the full value of $4.50, it is a $0.50 moneymaker. Couldn’t resist.

I can confirm that all of the above deals worked for me at Pike Creek Acme this morning, YMMV at your local store.

The cashier said $162.xx. I kinda chuckled and said “We’ll see.” The woman behind me was just gushing. “How do you do this? Where did you get those? How do you know all this?”

My final OOP: $52.xx. I paid.

And then I stared at the catalina machine and waited. And waited. It was thinking. It had much to think about. Then….it started….three $5 catalinas for the baby wipes, the $5 baby catalina, the $4.50 milk cat and lastly a $2 gerber catalina for buying Gerber graduates. I looked at her & said “Yep, I just paid $52, and the machine gave me back $26. And now I’m going to go home, fill out a rebate form, and Quaker oatmeal is going to send me another $5.”

I gave her the blog address & told her to keep in touch. Are you here?

ETA: Eek! I was so excited about the wipes working, I didn’t even look at any other P&G items to see if they still had the tags in front of them. So while you’re there, take a gander at the diapers and cleaning aisles, and let us know, ok? And to my hcw friends, I didn’t post this deal on there. I’m taking a break from that site for a little while. And let’s just say it’s not a self-imposed break. I’m not sure what I posted, but it was in violation of something. See you back on there soon.

Leggo My Eggo

Here’s a deal I almost missed–

At Acme, Eggos are bogo. The ad states save up to 3.59, but I’m pretty sure they’re 3.99 at my Acme. I have lots of the $0.75 off one coupons, which of course will double to $1.50. Assuming that they let me use 2 coupons for each pair that I buy, and usually Acme will let you use 2 coupons on a bogo, I’ll pay anywhere from $0.59-$0.99 for 2 boxes of Eggos. That’s a stock up price for me!
