Got lots of free peanut butter at Superfresh this week, guess I’ll get us some jelly to go with it.

*Hot* Kelloggs deal at Weis

Missed out on the Giant deal last week? No worries, if you have a Weis. Click here to read this week’s Weis discussion thread.

But what I’m gathering is……..buy $20 worth of Kellogg’s/Keebler products….get $17 back. Get out those old coupon inserts if you have them, there have got to be lots of moneymakers out there (where you pay less than what you get back). For this one, it has to be 10 items with a shelf price totaling more than $20.

I don’t have a Weis, so I’m not going, but good luck & have fun. If you have any questions on what some of the acronyms on the discussion thread mean, just ask, I’d be glad to help. Don’t forget there are IPs on coupons.com for Kelloggs stuff.

Giant/Kelloggs Deal

Fantastic deal going on at Giant this week. The various Keebler/Kelloggs products are on sale for 2 for $4 or 2 for $5. This includes Eggos, cereal, fruit snacks and more–see your specific store for the items. Then they are offering an instant savings of $5 when you buy 5 items. Sounds good, huh?

Wait–when you purchase 10 items, you not only will receive $10 in instant savings, but a $10 catalina!

If you purchased 10 of the $2 items-$20. Minus $10 in instant savings, pay $10…..get $10 back. Then use that catalina to pay for the next set of 10. Lather, rinse, repeat until you run out of room for storage.

Of course you can use coupons, there was a Kelloggs coupon in this past Sunday’s paper.

Even though this is a great deal, I may sit it out. I am overloaded with Nutri Grain bars and not sure I can eat another bowl of Crispix.

This should include Super G and Martin’s and the other Giant stores, again, check your store for specifics. I don’t believe it stacks, so I would only do 10 items at a time. Feel uncomfortable have $0 out of pocket when you roll it? Then just do several back to back transactions, take to car. Return with your $10 catalinas to do your regular weekly trip. Or hang on to them to see if there is a deal next week that we can roll them on.

My trip to Giant this morning

I was going to go to Giant this morning, to look for more BBQ sauce. Then when I read that it wasn’t working anymore, I sort of abandoned the idea. I realized I had to go out anyway–I needed stamps, to go to the mac machine to get cash for babysitter tonight, to pick up my inserts from the newsstand…..and then our power went out. So I figured might as well stop in & get what I need.

8 Dentyne gums-$0.59 each, had $1 coupons, so $0.41 overage for each
4 Danimals-$2 each, I had four $1 coupons
4 Sorrento Cheese snacks-$4.34 each; I had two $3 off 2 coupons, plus two $5 rebates
10 Dannon cups of yogurt-$4, I had a $1 off 10 cups coupon
3 Thomas English muffins-$3, I had two $1 off coupons

After coupons & my $12.50 that I got in catalinas yesterday, I paid $5.58 out of pocket. But then I came home & mailed off $10 worth of rebates for the string cheese, so I made out well.
