Reverse matchups-3/6 redplum

Just picked up my inserts, figured I’d get some reverse matchups done. Will try to do smartsource later.

$1 off 2 tropicana-yay! finally! an orange juice coupon and I really try to stay brand loyal to this, it’s our favorite. But today it was $4.29, yes 4.29 a carton at Superfresh! Watch for it to go on sale two for 6, hopefully, and stock up, usually has long exp dates.

Natures Bounty-always bogo sales on this everywhere-Walgreen’s, CVS, Kmart, Acme–use a coupon on each item

Garnier-I just posted some of the items that are on sale at DG. This frequently comes on deals at both CVS and Walgreen’s, and I like their stuff. These coupons are keepers.

Pedigree-would use these at Kmart or DG

Maybelline-eh, I think most of the makeup clearance is over until July. Look for ECB deals at CVS.

L’oreal/Target coupon-can be stacked with other L’oreal coupons, which are later in flyer.
Pure Protein-won’t use these.

Frozen food coupons in middle-we don’t eat most of that. The Birds Eye-I just love love love the frozen brown rice. It is so easy to make, just the right amount, love it!

Dove-there’s a chocolate deal, I’m pretty sure it includes Dove, at CVS this week. Look at the exp date! Use it after Easter on clearance candy if you get what you need prior to Easter.

L’oreal-look for deals at CVS or Walgreen’s, or stack with Target coupon.

Jimmy Dean-not something I would really eat, but it’s a high value coupon, and yes, I would try the item if it was free. So I’ll clip it & hang on to it.

Mardi Gras napkins-hang on to it, might be included in the next Conagra deal

Folgers/Intl Delight-won’t use it

Target Kellogg’s coupons-stack with mfr coupons

Starkist-my husband is really picky about tuna & won’t eat this, I don’t eat tuna

Kellogg’s coupons-I’m excited about the Nutri Grain bars, because they are one of the few things my handicapped son really likes. Hopefully they’ll go on sale for under $2.00 a box, maybe $1.50–not unheard of. And then these coupons would make them $.75. Remember, Acme and SF will double it. So will Genaurdi’s, PM and SR.

Keebler-funny, the Acme price they show does not reflect the coupons being doubled, and they will. I’m always game for cheap cookies.

With all these Keebler/Kellogg’s coupons out, I think we may see a catalina deal soon!

Other vitamins-won’t use those

Wisk-save this one-nice higher value, may be good if Kmart does superdoubles

Mr Clean-it’s a P&G item, so I’ll hang on to it in case of another P&G deal

razors-same thing, those are P&G items

And that’s it–that’s my 5 minute walk through a coupon insert!

$1.50 off one Cottonelle Ultra product, IP

HERE is the link. According to the email I got from Acme, this is not available to everyone, just e-mail subscribers. Nice high value amount!

Acme ad, March 4-10; highlights & matchups

Sorry I’m so late this week, and my shift button isn’t working consistently, and it’s an abbreviated version of highlights. I apologize to my newer readers, you joined us during a crappy week, I’m just super busy with life and don’t have much time for matchups this week. It is a pretty slow week, though we should be able to score some free Crest items. I’ll post specifics on that later.

stouffers red box-50% off; coupons in Genuardi’s/Safeway booklet, 2/6 inserts

Meats: don’t forget the $1 Lancaster brand coupons from tailgating booklets.
tbone or porterhouse-4.99/lb
boneless, skinless chicken-bogo

store coupons on flap of ad-stack with mfr coupons for add’l savings:
Tide-9.99; includes stain release! So use that $3 coupon on top of it. Has shelf price of 14.99, so this is a great item to use as part of the 5/20 deal.

coke 2 liter products-5 for $4, must buy 5

frozen turkey breast, 1.49/lb

tombstone pizzas, 4 for 10, must buy 4, no coupons listed in database

starkist, 3 for a buck, must buy 3; $.75/2 coupon from 3/7/11 will make it free/moneymaker if that variety is included; printable

chips ahoy, 1.99 each, must buy 2; $1 tearpads back by dairy dept (Avondale acme) when you buy gallon of milk

acme pasta-0.69 each, must buy 4, check your avenu savings

end of store coupon items

yoplait-20 for 10, doesn’t say must buy 20, but a $2 catalina may spit out if you do. Lots of coupon printable links on box tops resource page at top of blog

kelloggs cereals-1.88, use affiliate banner link to get some printables, I posted it yesterday and this morning.

tastykakes-1.99, lowest price around and I love the retro packaging! support local economy & buy some!

progresso soups- 4 for $5, meh, not a great price imo

4.99 each when you buy 3: pepsi products, 24 packs; rock star & frappucino 4 packs; $1 off ones in 2/6 inserts or printable

save $4 instantly when you buy 4 men’s dove, vaseline intensive care, axe or suave items; can’t use the shelf price/sale price thing here because it’s an item requirement, not a dollar amount; they’re advertising some suave shampoos for $1, but I really doubt that it will include the mens’ shampoos–can’t hurt to check, that would mean four for free without even doing anything; that would be too easy!

Cover girl cosmetics are 20% off and they are a P&G item, though not shown as part of deal, so try at your own risk; but there are bogo coupons from last week, so doing shelf price/sale price/bogo coupons, could be decent deals

Herr’s pretzels-1.50, use this printable to make them $0.50

Kraft mac & cheese, 5 packs-3.99; use this printable to make it 2.99; or $0.60/box; yeah, I’d get a couple of 5 packs at that price, since my kids like it

simply orange-4.99; use $1 printable up top on coupons dot com bar

ocean spray, 2 for $4; no coupons listed in database; sadly I am pleased to see juice at $2 or less, it has gotten soooo expensive lately!

perdue nuggets or short cuts, 3.99; 1/9 inserts, or try this link
(fwiw, I’ve been getting the big bags of frozen nuggets, as they are usually included in the Favorite four for 19.99 and there are $1 coupons out for them, so they’re a better deal)

P&G Deal-
I posted some of it yesterday, I don’t see much to be excited about except the Tide. I will look on the Acme board on hcw and see if anyone puts together any decent scenarios.

some updates-CVS, Walgreen’s, Genuardi’s (safeway)

I went to CVS today for some freebies. I bought two Crest toothpaste-sensitive shield and enamel shield. One rang up at $2.09, but still gave back $3.29 in Extra Bucks. Even better with the $1 coupons, a $2.20 moneymaker! Landenberg store is out of the toothbrushes. And, I looked closer at the ad to find that Pampers are not in the P&G deal, bummer.

Walgreen’s-it’s being reported that the Tylenol Precise is ringing up at $3. So if you have the $6 off 2 items coupon from 1/9 inserts–get one Precise and one Motrin PM, pay with coupon, get $3 RRs back. Avondale/Penn Green Road store is out of both!

Genuardi’s-a friend told me that starting tomorrow, the Ore Ida will go down to $2.49 instead of $2.99, so an even better deal for the frozen food thing I’ve posted. I meant to get there today & didn’t.

Acme told me they didn’t have the new ad yet. Tomorrow I’ll try SF and Genuardi’s.
