Current/future catalina offers, 7/25

If you have stores that do Catalinas, there are a lot of upcoming offers. Pay close attention to the list, there’s Pampers, Viva and a few good other ones.

Remember, if it says “in future savings” that means that you’ll be getting that amount back when making the specified purchase. If it says “when you buy” that means it should be a printable coupon. Make sure you register for the site, and at least give your correct zip code, if you don’t care to give away your personal information to marketers. It will tell you which stores close to you are participating in the catalina offers.

The Dole offer might be a double-dip opportunity, plus I saw printable links on Hotcouponworld. Check my earlier Acme post, near the end. I just C&P the Dole part this morning.

When my ads come on Wednesday, I’ll see if there are any matchup opportunities for Playtex, Pampers, Viva and Degree. They look like they could be good!

LOTS of catalina offers coming up at Acme, July 22-28

I’m quite surprised that there aren’t more Box Tops deals. Maybe the week after next, but they told us at Box Tops Univ that the big back-to-school kickoff is July 26. Anyway, here are the deals, I added some matchups but ran out of steam. I’ll add more tomorrow and repost. Thanks to my friend HM for helping with the typing. You know it’s a big catalina week if it takes assistance.

ETA 7/25:

The Perdue nuggets are $3 a package (refrig ones, not frozen) and my binder still had some $0.50/1s in it, so $2 is a good price I think. And, they come packaged all ready to freeze, just toss them in freezer.

The Hershey’s singles choc milk & milkshakes are $1.25, I had some tearpad coupons given to me by a friend, for $0.50, so only $0.25 if you have the tearpads.

I can't figure out where I double-dipped, but I did!

I just did my weekly trip at Acme. I can’t figure out where I double-dipped, but I did!

I was mainly interested in the GM stuff, as far as stockpiling. I did not get ANY of the other catalina offers, like the Carnation or PopTarts. I did however, mix & match a total of 28 different GM items. It was a mix of HN Cheerios, MultiGrain Cheerios, NV Granola Bars and Fiber One Brownies. In return, I got 7 catalinas for a free milk, 7 catalinas for $2 each, compliments of General Mills, and 7 catalinas for “$2 off your next purchase of $2 or more” but there is no mfr mentioned anywhere. I also got two catalinas to go online to enter at BTFE, for $1 each.

I went back and looked at the post I did on the national catalinas, and they all should have ended July 10. Even if I was double-dipping on those, I should have only gotten one $3 catalina extra, for buying 5 or more of the mentioned GM items.

In any event, with coupons and catalinas afterwards, it definitely means that the GM items work out to be free–with $4 in catalinas plus a $4.50 milk catalina for each set of 4, I know I didn’t pay $8.50 oop for each set.

Just wish I could figure out how it was working, so that I could go back & do more.

What are you doing to save money?

Today is the one-week anniversary of the savings pledge. Yay, go us! How are you doing? What are you doing?

These are a few things I’m doing-

Unless it’s super hot out, like this week, I’m not using a/c, opening up windows and using fans. I love summer though, and as long as it’s not really humid, we like the heat.

I am definitely monitoring how much perishable stuff I’m buying at store, to eliminate waste. That has been working for me–today is garbage day and I had very little to throw out.

My washing machine-For towels, I use warm water wash & dryer, everything else is cold water wash, shortened cycle, and on the clothesline. Hopefully this will balance out the increase in electric use from a/c.

Car-trying to drive less, making more of an effort to combine trips.

Coupons-I’m back on the wagon! I’m excited about the GM deal at Acme, which I’m doing today. Excited about some freebies at CVS, overage at Walmart and so on.

What are some ways you’re working on your savings pledge?
