Acme ad-Sept 2-8; highlights (very few matchups!)

And it’s not for lack of trying. I searched the HCW coupon database, but there are very few coupons out for their sale items. I mean, as far as insert coupons or printables, but that’s all I report on because tearpads and other things are harder to come by.

Please use the coupons tab on my facebook page, or the buttons/banners on here to get all your printables before you go. Load your Acme card and your Savings Star.

Superfresh ad, Aug 19-25, highlights & matchups

Hmmm, this makes me wonder if Acme and Superfresh have the same ad writer, they have very similar items on sale. Both have Stouffer’s red box on sale, Acme has a $1 produce sale, Superfresh has a $0.99 produce sale. Both have the chicken at $0.99/lb.

But here are some promos and offers you may be interested in, if trying to decide where to shop this week.

Chef Boyardee and Snack Packs are $1. There are tons of coupons out for this, last week’s inserts, in the past two All You magazines, home mailers and so on. I know I have $1 off 4s and 5s, and free Snack Packs wyb X number of Chef Boyardee and so on. I like these for lunches, so I may check that out. I think I should be able to average around $0.75-$0.80 per item, instead of $1.

Minute Maid punches & ades-$1; tip-hubby really likes these mixed with club soda.

Wish Bone is only $1, and you don’t have to buy ten like at Acme.

America’s Choice cheese, 8-12 oz-$1.50–good price!

Eggs, 18ct, $1.49

Tastykakes are 2 for $5, bogo at Acme–see? Same thing!

Kellogg’s/Keebler offer: Save $4 instantly wyb 8 items

Special K bars, 2 for $5

Kellogg’s fruit snacks-2 for $4; will be only $1 per box if you combine this offer with the many $1 off 2 coupons that are out, from recent papers and tearpads.

Keebler Granola fudge bars-$2–will be free if you have eight of the $0.75/1 coupons!

Make sure you sign up for the Kellogg’s printables, they had $0.70/1s they sent me.

Ice Cream offer: Get $4 catalina when you buy $12 of select items. Should work on shelf prices, then pay sale, minus any coupons. Looks like it includes just about everything from Edy’s, Nestle, Haagen Dazs, Skinny Cow.

$1 sale-Suave shampoo & conditioners, arrid, a&h deodorant, power bars, caress, lever 2000, bic razors, scotties tissues.

As always, check your Zavers before you go and get your printables.

Overall, a good week!

There is a Procter & Gamble promo–$5 back when you spend $20. Should work on shelf prices, then pay sale prices minus any coupon. Be aware of knockdown prices and double check your math. I have heard of a few shoppers not getting their catalinas recently. Items included, and sale prices listed:

Overall a decent week-Happy shopping!

Diaper prices this week, 8/14

Walgreens-has jumbo packs of Pampers 2 for $20, $3 back in RR wyb two packs. Use two $2 coupons from 7/31 inserts, pay just $6.50 per jumbo pack. Not terrible, but def not my stock up price. The Huggies are $9.49 with $2 back, but only offers sizes 3,4,5 for RR diaper promo. But, there is a coupon in the Infant Care booklet if you have one of those kickin’ around, plus any mfr coupons. I think there’s another store coupon for Huggies in the Walgreens monthly booklet too. Walgreens is definitely my pick this week if you need diapers. Plus, they have lots of Free after RR items this week, so buy those first, then roll those RRs into the diapers.

Target-giant boxes for $29.99, $10 gc wyb two boxes. Even with mfr coupons and after gc, not a great price. Still, if you don’t want to be bothered with RRs, give it a look. Make sure you do the math–some of those big boxes are as expensive $0.30 per diaper or more.  Bulk packs does not always equal lower prices.

CVS-offering ECB deals on both Huggies and Pampers, plus look for clearanced CVS brand diapers. Oddly the ad does not mention a per-card limit on the Huggies. Check your receipts, it may be more than one.

Superfresh–offering a free bundle pack of Kleenex wyb $30 worth of Kimberly Clark items, which includes Huggies. Should work off of shelf prices, then pay sale price and minus any coupons. Don’t forget to check Zavers before you go.

Acme-no deals listed, assume regular price.

Giant-has some ‘sale’ prices listed, but $8.99 for a jumbo pack or $19.99 for a box is not much of a sale, imo.

Kmart-nothing showing in online ad.
